1 WEEK BEFORE
Grace can't help herself, she can't enter her grandmother's room. There are so many wires connected to her grandmother's body.
She just watched from her bedroom window. She wanted to keep her life private. She's wearing a face mask and black sunglasses. Even though it's already night.
She tried to open the door but her heart kept aching when she looked at her grandmother, she was ashamed of herself, she felt like she was a disappointment.
She is just gripping her hands in the doorknob and she is keeping her sobs silent. She felt a tap from her shoulder. When she turned her back, her older brother was there.
Wonwoo hugged her. Grace cried in his chest.
"Brother, where did I go wrong?"
"Why, I feel like it's all my fault?" She keeps blaming herself, she has been crying non stop since yesterday.
"Why does everything seem to be my fault, why do the people around me make mistakes?" Wonwoo sighed and kissed the top of her head.
He doesn't know how to comfort grace. He doesn't even know what his sister went through.
She is fighting for herself all along.
Grace never bothers someone just to let her feelings. She owns all her problems. She will bear all her sufferings on her own.
"Grace, it's not, it's not your fault, stop crying," He caresses her back and Grace cries more in his arms.
She had been waiting for this for a long time.
She wanted a sincere hug from her family.
They don't know her pain. All of her hard work when she is alone. Her loneliness is killing her mental health. Her past is keeping her awake at night.
Her loved ones are leaving her alone.
"Why do I feel like I'm such a disappointment," she was stunned as her tears flowed.
She is still thinking about Joshua and herself. They're supposed to be a married couple right now.
It's their wedding day.
She is still in pain. Now she will think more because of her situation. She doesn't know what to do first.
She doesn't want to see her parents either. Because they're throwing a party for Cali. They want her to succeed.
