I don't know how I didn't see it before.
She is the one. I tried to tell her when she last visited, but I don't think she heard me.
Today I'm going to tell her that I know that she was the girl at the party when comes and visits. She is the most loyal friend in the world.
Maybe she is more than a friend. I don't think she thinks of us in that way. I shouldn't think like that either.
"Visiting hours have begun!" the warden yells.
The gates to the detention centre open and people start to flood in like waves. I am searching for Hayley, her brown flowing hair and piercing blue eyes can't be missed in a crowd.
Not by me anyway.
I reached into my pocket, and touched the cold metal object that lay in there gently, and the memories of the night came rushing back to me.

I am nervous for what Casey will say to me about last time. I don't think that he thinks that I heard what he said to me because I didn't reply. But I certainly did.
I know now that he knows. Knows it was me at the party. But I don't know if I want him to know. It was just one night anyway!
All these emotions whirling inside of me couldn't be good.
I walk through the gates, seeming to be pulled away by the crowd of people flooding in also. But through all of the people, mine and Casey's eyes locked almost instantly.
We walked up to each other. We both looked at the police, and they gave us a look that said yes.
With that we took each other in our arms. Hugged. Embraced. Almost choked each other.
It was so good to feel him, smell him. He always has the same scent; a faint mint and alcohol smell.
We then sat down and talked. It felt like I hadn't seen him in a year, when in reality, I had only not seen him for 3 days. I hadn't been visiting because I was working things out with Kian and stuff.
"Hey," his deep, husky voice was soothing in my ears.
"Hi,"
"I haven't been visiting lately because, well because I know you know that..."
He kissed me. It was only for about 4 seconds, then he pulled away and looked around, just to make sure no one was looking. They were. And all they did was smile.
We giggled.
"That was all I needed. Now I know."
All I did was smile.

It was the same lips that I have been looking at for 10 years, wearing the same nude/pink lipstick for 10 years. The same lips that she rubs together when she is nervous or thinking hard, and the same lips she always licks when it's windy.
And they are the lips that blessed me with her kisses all those nights ago.
"That was all I needed. Now I know."
She smiles, looks down and bites her bottom lip.
I pull out the necklace from my pocket, and lift it up. It's golden key dangling from the silver chain, blowing in the breeze.
She gasps.
"Turn around."
She does.
I put the necklace over her head so that it rests on her collar bones, and push her curly hair around her neck so that I can fix the clasp together.
Hayley again flashes that gorgeous smile at me and we kiss again softly.
