WARNING! I was definitely lacking some inspiration for this chapter, so it will probably end up being a bit rushed and a bit in shambles. Just warning you now.

Hayley hasn't moved from the couch since we got home from the shops. Her stark blue eyes were motionless and focused on a point of intrest, as if the mark on the wall was so fascinating.

I had always admired the little brown speck amidst the ocean in her eyes, but now it seemed like it was out of place in the coldness of her hard gaze.

In no way do I blame her for being so shut off, but I thought I had helped. For once been a hero that she so desperatley needed. But now she is treating me like just another speck in the ocean. Something so beautiful and defining that she just took for granted, and she thought the same for me. Someone she just took for granted.

As I was washing my knuckles free from the blood stained on them, I felt as if all the scrubbing in the world could never take away the blood stained on my conscience. I had punched a man, forced him to the ground with one throw of my clenched fist.

I had not intentionally done what I did. I didn't mean for that man to be on the ground after I opened my eyes. It wasn't just Hayley who was in shock, I mean I was the one who threw my fist that collided with his jaw.

All I saw after I heard a thud and I opened my eyes, was blood on my knuckles, and I knew it wasn't my own, and some pervert laying unconcious on the floor behing Hayley. He was covered in his own blood which I had put there.

After all the blood from my hands was gone, I tried to approach Hayley again. I had attempted previously with no success, but I had something in mind that would cheer her up, it used to work all the time.

Oh my God, Oh my God. I keep repeating that over and over in my head because it was all I could think to say after what happened. Now the mark on the wall was so interesting, and all it was all I could think about.

Kian suddenly comes over and I see that he has washed the blood off his hands, but there is still a faint stain of red on his fingers.

"Look, Hayley, I know you are in shock and maybe a bit scared. But I have an idea," Kian said, and judging by the smirk on his face, it wasn't going to be good.

It took a while, but after fifteen minutes of dragging me along the floor, Kian somehow managed to get me to the Wii where we started to sing.

That was three hours ago.

We have been singing for three hours and fifteen minutes now, and he was right - this was exactly what I needed.

Kian was out on the floor, michrophone still in hand. But I was far from done.

"Oh oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah
I get a feeling that I never, never, never, never had before, no no
And I just gotta tell you right now that I,
I believe, I really do believe that

Something's got a hold on me, yeah
Oohoh, something's got a hold on me right now, child

Let me tell you now
I got a feeling, I feel so strange
Everything about me seems to have changed
Step by step, I got a brand new walk
I even sound sweeter when I talk

I said, oh, oh, oh, oh
heyyyy baby
Oh, it must be love

Let me tell you now,
Something's got a hold on me, yeah
Oohoh, something's got a hold on me right now, child,"

I was tempted to just stop and drop the michrophone on the ground like a swaggy hipster rapper person, but I didn't want to break it and I didn't want the smash to wake Kian.

But slow claps from behind me startled me and I did almost drop the remote.

They were coming from Kian, he was still on the floor but sitting cross legged.

"Oh my God Kian! You scared me!! Ha,"

"Do I get yelled at for applauding my friend who is an amazing singer? Because you were bloody amazing Hail," he said.

I couldn't help but blush at his comment.

"How long have you been watching me?" I asked curious as to how much of he saw of me getting embarrassingly too much into the song.

"Do you mean how much did I see of you getting into that song like you owned it? Which you did by the way,"

"Um, yeah," I muttered quietly as I try to avoid his eyes in shame and embarrassment.

"Don't worry Hayley," Kian said as he jupped up from the ground and looked me straight in the eyes, " I think it was awesome, and I love it how you get into the songs you sing so much."

I giggled, "Really?"

"Really."

I knew he was going to kiss me.

He's done it before.

He looks straight into your eyes with his chocolate brown ones, then your lips, back to your eyes, then your lips again. He does that a lot, every guy does. He gives you the smirk and then the seductive lip bite.

That gets me everytime. It gives me the shivers, the feeling every girl is supposed to feel when a guy's about to kiss her.

Then he gently tucks a piece of hair behind your ear with his fingers, and subtly keeps his hand on your cheek, his thumb on your cheekbone and fingers behind your ear.

Then slips his hand under your hair and grabs your neck, gently but rough at the same time, and pulls your neck closer, holds his lips a centimeter away from yours, until all you can hear is the hitching breaths of each other... and he looks into your eyes for one last time before he crashes his lips onto yours.
