please read the a/n below!!
I am standing out the front of Hayley's house, and I am contemplating whether I should actually go to the door this time.
Last time I was so chicken that i just stood out the front of her house holding a stupid bunch of flowers like an idiot.
An idiot who had a whole speech planned out to confess his love for a girl who is totally out of his league. And did I mention it is raining? Well it is.
I honestly dont know what to tell her. My feelings are still torn between her and the one at the party whom I still think about everyday. Her beauty, her aura and her mysterious yet sexy nature.
Somehow I end up at her front door, and I see Hayley standing in her living room pacing back and forth.
I knock.
Her attention turns to the door where I stand, holding a saturated bunch of dead looking flowers, matted down hair and I bet a see-through tee.
I wave like a stupid boy, and she races to the door, and saves me from the rain.
"Hey," I say, feeling kinda awkward.
"Hi," she giggles.
Oh, I love her giggle.
And how she brushes her hair back behind her ear with her fingers, she is the one, the one I think I love.
I laugh with her. "Hi."
"So, what's up?" she asks.
"Well, you know that girl at Kirstin's Party..." I start, but I notice that she is acting weird. She doesn't have those eyes that she looks at you with when you're talking to her. Her eyes are not even connecting with mine.
And she doesn't notice that I have stopped talking.
Then I do the only thing I can think to do.
I kiss her.
Only for a few seconds before I pull away in shock and realisation.
"You," I say.
"You kissed me!?" She exclaims.
"Casey I can't do this."
"Do what?" I ask, confused.
She sighs before she continues, "Kian and I kissed. But I pushed him off straight away. I just wanted you to know."
"What? When?"
"He was over here and he just came onto me."

I felt so bad for lying to Casey. But, I panicked.
I hope he doesn't take it too seriously, but he doesn't even care that much.
We have been friends for so long, and I think we both need some space. He needs his imaginary girl, and I need Kian.
He won't stop looking for me until he finds me, which he won't. And I was wrong about my feelings for Casey. He and I just need to be friends, nothing more.

That dirty piece of.. of.....crap!
He laid his gruby hands on my innocent girl. Now he's going to pay.
After I left Hayley's house I stormed over to Kian's.
I kicked down the door and raced over to the couch where he was sitting, now standing.
"What the hell mate?" Kian yelled.
I didn't have time to answer that, instead answered it with my fist colliding with his face.
The world abrubtly turned into a slow motion movie, each second like a minute, the air as thick.
Each punch to Kian's face earned more blood to spill out of his nose and lip, but he doesn't go down without a fight.
The blows to my own head were like an earthquake in my brain, each shattering the city inside. Kian eventually fell to the ground with a thud, blood oozing out of his nose, lips and eyebrow.
I could feel the slow fall of blood on my own face.
Something took over me and I kept kicking Kian, and with each kick I could more prominantly see the blood that i had put on his face, and his closed eyes.
Hayley was suddenly at the door, screaming at me to stop kicking Kian.
I didn't see her run in, and my foot collided with her stomach, knocking her down. She gets back up, and jumps on my back to get me off of Kian.
I immediately fall on my butt, horrified at what I have come to realise I have done.
Hayley is sitting by Kian, who is unconcious, she is coughing up blood and she is on the phone to an ambo.
"Um, yeah hello?"
She coughs, blood spitting out.
"My friend has just been asaulted, and he's not breathing."
She coughs again
"Um, yes I was hit by the offender, but I am-" she coughs, "okay."
"Please just send an ambulance straight away!"
"Thank you."
She hangs up the phone.
"Go Casey," she says sharply, not even looking at me while saying it.
"I'll stay with Kian."
"Hayley," I start but she cuts me off.
"Seriously Casey, go! You're lucky I am not doing to you what you did to Kian right now."
The red and blue lights appear in the driveway, and I run.

In the ambulance, Kian regained conciousness, but his heart stops so often.
They ask me how he got so bad, I say that I found him like that when I got there. They have to keep defibrilate him so his seart starts again. It leaves him with burn markes on his chest.
As soon as we arrive at the hospital, he is put in the ER, and I have to stay out in the waiting room.
About two and a half hours later, when the sun begins to rise, the doctor comes out and says that Kian has a serious head injury, three broken ribs, a broken finger, a broken nose and a punctured lung.
All because of Casey.

Hi.
I am so sorry for not updating sooner, I just went back to school on Wednesday, and I have truly just not been feeling like writing lately, but I have been writing a plan before I start the chapter so I know what I am going to write, and to be honest, sometimes I am just not in the mood to write after that. Sorry!P.S I just wrote out a whole plan for the entire story + epilogue!!
P.P.S Sorry for any mistakes! this hasn't been edited and i wrote it entirely in like 1 hour!
