Chapter 3-Daily Life 3

Rena: I'll hang out with Vika. I DMed Vika in a private chat and asked her if she wanted to interact.

Rena Swoobat:
Hey Vika, wanna hang out?

Vika Cinccino:
> Sure, why not? ~

> Meet me in the relaxation room. ~

Rena: After reading her message I went over to the relaxation room.

Vika: "Hello Rena."

Rena: We talked for a while.

FTE Start:

Vika: "Do you really not remember that much about yourself?"

Rena: "Hm? Oh, no not really. What brought that up?"

Vika: "Nothing in particular, I was just curious."

Rena: "Okay?"

Vika: "Like, do you remember any of your family?"

Rena: "I'm not even sure I ever had a family."

Vika: She gasped. "Really?!"

Rena: "Well, again, I'm not really sure. But if I do, I don't remember them."

Vika: "I can't imagine going through that..."

Rena: "What do you mean?"

Vika: "My family means the world to me. My little brother and my parents are the most supportive people I'll have ever met. I can't ever imagine not being able to remember someone that important in my life."

Rena: "Well if you don't remember that they're important, it wouldn't bother you as much right?"

Vika: "Hmm... when you put it like that I guess I can see why you wouldn't care as much..."

Rena: What should I say next?

Rena: "Tell me more about your family. You seem to really care about them."

Vika: "Of course I do, I love them very much and I probably couldn't be where I was before this without them!" She seems happy by my response.

Rena: "Interesting."

Vika: "Yeah, there's my brother Shiikuwa and my parents."

Rena: "Shi what?"

Vika: "Shiikuwa. He's really nice and is also constantly asking me questions about my talent."

Rena: "I see, what kinds of questions does he ask?"

Vika: "Things like 'How do you make them?' 'Why do you make them?' 'Do you sell them?' and other basic things like that."

Rena: "Well now I'm curious."

Vika: "Let's finish this conversation later if that's fine with you. My throat is kinda starting to hurt from talking too much."

Rena: "Oh, okay, that's fine."

Vika: "Thank you."

Rena: "Of course." After that, she left. I think we grew a little closer today. I still have some more time, so who should I interact with next...?

Rena: I'll talk with Myth. I DMed Myth in a private chat and asked her if we could interact.

Rena Swoobat:
Hey Myth, do you want to hang out together?

Myth Meloetta:
I don't see why not.

Meet me in the Distress Room.

Rena: After reading her message, I went to the Distress Room. Myth was waiting for me when I got there.

Myth: "Hello Rena."

Rena: We talked a bit about ourselves.

FTE Start!

Rena: "So Myth, I have a question."

Myth: "Ask away!"

Rena: "Well actually, I have two questions. Do you write your own songs or just cover them? And also, what genre of music do you sing?"

Myth: "Oh, well I do a mix of both for your first question. I mostly write and sing my own songs, however I will cover a pre-existing song every now and then."

Rena: "Alright then, but what about the music? Do you do that too?"

Myth: "No actually, a good friend of mine does it. He's also the Ultimate Composer so you might have heard of him."

Rena: "I can't say that rings a bell..."

Myth: "Oh, okay, that's fine though. As for your second question, I usually don't stick with one specific genre. The most I do is usually for an album. Other than that, I usually jump around based off the songs rhythm and lyrics."

Rena: What should I ask her next?

Rena: "Do you also write your own lyrics? Or does someone else write those too?"

Myth: "I'm glad you asked! Usually, yes, I do write them myself but sometimes if I'm running low on ideas then I'll commission someone for lyrics and then base the rest of the song around them. It's actually a really fun process!" She seems happy with my question.

Rena: "Really? That's actually kinda cool."

Myth: "Glad to see you think the same way I do!"

Rena: "Yep!" We kept talking like that for a while. Eventually, dinner time came up. We walked to the cafeteria together.

Rena: There weren't that many people there. Mostly just the people who were always there. We had food, talked for a while then left. I went back to my room. Today was fun but my social battery is pretty much drained.

Rena: I lied down and thought about things. Would things stay this way? Could it stay this way? I wanted to say that it would but of course, with the motives, it couldn't. Not until the game was fully over would it stay that way. But would that ever even happen? Would I even live that long? I carry a weapon at all times and could probably fight some people off but if someone like Reiko or Ternovuh came at me with a weapon, I might not survive. It's useless thinking about things like that, I should just ignore it and try to change for the better like I said I would.

*click*

Houndoom: "10 PM everyone, it's now nighttime and the bar is closed."

Rena: I should definitely get some sleep now. Hopefully nothing bad will happen.
