???: "Hey guys, you know what time it is, motive time!! Go to the floor split-off room and I'll explain more there!"

Rena: I woke up from my nap. Or at least I think it's the same day. It must be, either that, or I slept through the morning announcement. I didn't fully recognize the voice, but they sounded familiar. I went to the Split-Off Room and saw everyone else was there. All except Houndoom. However, someone else was there.

???: "Hello everyone! I'm here to deliver your motive! Now some of you may or may not recognize me, if not, I'll re-introduce myself. I'm Dustox, She/They."

Inteol: "What's the motive this time?"

Dustox: "I'll get to that in a sec. Minor announcement for you all first. As some of you know, Houndoom has been injured and is currently unable to host this game. As such, for the time being, I will be your new headmaster for the foreseeable future! Now that that's been announced, motive time! Everyone will receive an envelope. This envelope will contain a deep dark secret about yourself that you need or want hidden from the rest of the world!"

Dulse: "Secrets? That's it? How is that a motive?"

Dustox: "I wasn't done! Anyway, every day, one secret will be revealed randomly until everyone has gone. And as punishment for interrupting me Dulse, I'm going to reveal yours first! Ahem, 'Dulse Swirlix, Ultimate Confectioner, has a body count of 4.'"

Dulse: "...Well shit, didn't think anyone else knew about that."

Vika: "Wait, y-you're saying it's true?!"

Dulse: "Unfortunate, but yes, it's true. But what happens now? Mine has been revealed so no one will have mine."

Dustox: "That's what you think. For now, yes you're right, but once all of the secrets have been revealed, a new batch will be given out. Everyone has three secrets and they will be randomly distributed every time."

Reiko: "What happens when all of the secrets are revealed?"

Dustox: "We predict that you all won't get that far, but if you somehow did, the motive would simply end, things would be back to normal for a few days, then a new motive would be introduced."

Rena: "Delightful."

Dustox: "Alright, now, I'm passing out the motives now. You can do whatever you want with it once you get it, but it cannot be destroyed until that motive has been revealed." She gets up, envelopes in hand, and passes them out to everyone. Once they come over to me, I notice that only one is left, and it's my own. 

Rena: Once I take it, I immediately open it, I hear the sounds of opening envelopes so clearly I'm not the only one. 'Rena Swoobat, Ultimate ---------, sworn off using maps after it got a friend of theirs killed.' My talent is scratched out, I was really hoping I could figure out if I had one or not. Anyways, this secret doesn't seem like much of a motive. I mean, it's sad I guess but I don't know, nor do I care about this supposed friend, so I'm not really effected. I looked around, if seems everyone else had a different reaction than me. Some had left, others stayed, and most of those who stayed opened their envelopes. I didn't bother staying around for seeing their reactions, I'm still tired, and I want to sleep. I went to my room and was about to go in when I heard someone.

Ekolo: "Wait!"

Rena: "Hm? What is it?"

Ekolo: "I'm sorry but, can we stay together for a bit?"

Rena: "Why?"

Ekolo: "I don't know, I think I just want to be in someone's company right now."

Rena: "Why not be with Reiko? You guys are closer."

Ekolo: "He's taking care of Houndoom and I don't want to interrupt him."

Rena: "Well I was about to go to sleep since I didn't get much of it last night."

Ekolo: "Oh..."

Rena: "Maybe try messaging the group chat and see if someone else is willing to hang out. I would but I'm just too tired right now."

Ekolo: "It's okay, I'll do that though. Have a good sleep."

Rena: "Thanks, see you later."

Ekolo: "You too!" He waved to me as I entered my room.

Rena: "I wonder how this is going to affect everyone..." I sat down on my bed. I feel a bit bad for lying to Ekolo. I'm not planning on going to sleep right now but I wanted to be alone. I spent some time in my room by myself, playing games on the MonoDS.

*Click*

Dustox: "It is now 10 PM and officially nighttime and as such, some places may be locked off for the night. It is recommended that you go to sleep and/or during this time."

Rena: What was that cookie cutter ass announcement? After snickering about that for a bit, I lied down and went to sleep. Hopefully nothing shitty happens tomorrow.
