Chapter 2-Daily Life 2

Rena: "So we're checking out the movie theatre right?"

Sheik: "Yep!"

Rena: "Lead the way."

Sheik: "Oki!" He ran off, supposedly in the direction of the theatre.

Ternovuh: As he ran off, I saw Ternovuh looking at him with an expression I could all but recognize. He noticed I was looking at him and stopped.

Rena: "You like him don't you?"

Ternovuh: "Well yeah, of course I do, he's a really great person."

Rena: I stood there for a second to let the question fully sink in.

Ternovuh: "Wait, you don't mean it like that do you?"

Rena: "I do."

Ternovuh: "Wh- I don't like him l-like that, I just really admire him." He was blushing so I knew that was bullshit.

Rena: "Mhm, sure, that's what they all say."

Ternovuh: "Wh-what does that mean?!- Stop that-"

Rena: "Not until you admit it."

Ternovuh: "..."

Rena: "..."

Ternovuh: "..."

Ternovuh: "...Fine, ok, I really like him, are you happy?"

Rena: "Very. So, when are you going to tell him?"

Ternovuh: "I... don't really know if I will..."

Rena: "Why not? It's pretty obvious that you like him and he seems to like you in some sort of way. Whether that be romantic or platonic I can't tell, but he definitely has some sort of attraction to you."

Ternovuh: "...It's just..." He sighs. "I really want to but... this isn't the place, y'know. Even if he does like me, one day we could be having fun and the next one of us could be dead."

Rena: I guess that is true, this place creates no exceptions, even for love.

Ternovuh: "I don't want us to be together if one day, we could just lose it all... I don't want either of us to go through that..."

Rena: It truly was a lose-lose situation. He either didn't tell him and just never express his feelings or he tells him and runs the risk of one of them dying and breaking the heart of the survivor. And of course, that's assuming Sheik likes him back. If he doesn't, that's a whole other problem. "Well, whatever you choose, I'll be with you."

Ternovuh: "...Why do you care so much?"

Rena: "I don't really know why myself, just part of me apparently knows about love. It might be part of my lost memories."

Ternovuh: "..."

Rena: "...Hey, let's not keep him waiting for too much longer, try and take your mind off of it for now and just, enjoy his company."

Ternovuh: "...Yeah, you're right. Let's go." He ran to the door, which wasn't far away at this point.

Rena: Hopefully, that all works out. I entered the theatre.

Sheik: "Oh hey guys, I was about to come get you two."

Ternovuh: "Heh, sorry to keep you waiting."

Rena: "Yeah, anyways, have you looked around yet?"

Sheik: "A little, I didn't go digging through here but I looked around a bit. This place is almost as big as the gym."

Ternovuh: "Yeah, I guess looking at the map, they are a similar size."
