Voight's POV

When I get to the barracks, I suspect Logan's not gonna be happy with what I'm gonna ask him. At the same time, who wants to hear about his parents abandoning him?

When I get there, everyone keeps quiet.

SV: Hm, can I talk to you privately, Logan?

She's not going anywhere.

D: What have they done now?

SV: This time it's not the gangs, it's your parents.

D: Ah, no, I'm not interested.

And on this sentence, she leaves under the confused eyes of everyone.

H: What's going on with her parents?

SV: We found them.

LS: How did they find it?

SV: When her house was burned down, her parents disappeared, and she also disappeared until she resurfaced when she went to the academy. But we knew she was still alive as she is the gang protégé.

CB: Did they abandon her?

SV: Unfortunately, that's what we think. They never worried about her disappearing. We knew she was alive and without her parents when we saw her at the scene of the fire. From that day until recently, we never saw her again.

O: What happened at the fire?

SV: That's not for me to say. That's her story.

Logan's POV

I really don't know what to think anymore, I need advice. Without thinking, I call Alejandro. He's always been there for me.

A: Hi Log!

D: Hi Alejandro! I need some advice.

A: I'm listening to you.

D: Sergeant Voight came to me to tell me that he has news about my parents, but I don't know what to think. I don't listen to them. After all this time, I don't know what to think, and make news of it.

A: Say no more, I'll be there in less than five minutes.

D: No Alejandro, you don't have to do that.

A: Log' you don't oblige me at all. And don't discuss my decision, I'm coming.

And he hung up on me. I get out of my bed and I go to the common room. When I step on it, everyone looks at me.

D: I still don't want to hear his news.

I hear noise towards the trucks so I turn my head and see Alejandro.

D: Wait a minute, that's all I'm asking, Sergeant Voight.

And I take Alejandro's hand and drag him into the conference room.

A: What's going on? Why can't you think?

D: Promise me that everything I tell you doesn't come out of this room, and it doesn't go up in the gang ears.

A: It is promised.

D: Okay, so Sergeant Voight has news about my parents, but I don't know if I accept them or not. I mean, they abused me for years and then disappeared and I'm on the street with nothing. They're not even parents to me anymore.

A: Wait, what did they do? How can we do this to you, the nicest person in the world?

D: After my brother died, they started to think that it was my fault that he died, even though it was an accident.
