Allison's POV

I've been sleeping way too peacefully, way too long.

Why haven't the cries of my two month old baby awoken me from my slumber?

My eyes snapped open and I sat up taking in my surroundings.

I was in a room.

Enzo's and I bedroom.

My mind refreshed on the happenings of last night.

After we drove to the house in torturing silence, Enzo decided we would talk in the morning and I should get some rest.

It's morning, I got my rest and I still don't feel the need to talk.

With a dreadful sigh, I removed myself from the comfy bed and made my way to the bathroom.

Y'all know that I love to prepare myself before I approach anyone in the morning.

I entered the living room after I completed my morning routine and took a look around.

Images replayed in my head of the most horrifying night of my life.

I don't think I can do this.

Why did I even agreed to talk last night?

We made the right decision, there's nothing to talk about.

The baby started kicking and I held my stomach.

"Yuh good?"

I spun upon hearing his voice behind me.

Our eyes caught each other's and I nodded.

His beard was now cut down to a full beard. I could see the beauty mark more clearer now. Still handsome as ever.

Seeing him makes all my worries and doubts fade away.

I feel myself being drawn to him and it was like I was willing to let everything go and just be with him.

Something I knew was gonna happen.

His face was expressionless but his eyes held a hint of admiration.

Feeling nervous and unsettled I cleared my throat and looked away from his dark alluring eyes to the baby lying on his chest.

A smile cracked on my face and I rubbed her tiny head. "Hi baby."

She glanced at me for a second before looking away.

"Yea and I still can't believe that you're mine." I said and straightened myself.

What do I say or do now?

I'm still against the idea of holding a conversation not knowing what's to become of it.

"The cook made breakfast..."

"Breakfast! Sure." I cut him off and headed to the kitchen.

You could've just sensed the unresolved tension between us if you were standing there.

It wasn't awkward just....moot.

I sat at the table and immediately dug in.

Is this what it feels like to be pregnant? Always hungry?

All I know was I could feel Enzo's eyes on me as I ate.

"What?" I asked softly.

He shook his head.

"Well it's not nothing if you keep staring at me."

I was starting to feel all shy and insecure.

"Princess you're just beautiful." His voice was so deep, I couldn't control my cheeks catching a flame.
