You sat at the dining table, your childhood stuffed animal sitting on the table in front of you. You looked at the hole that exposed its insides, tears in your eyes. Shuffling through your sewing kit you pulled out a needle and thread. You were so attached to the stuffed animal that any slight harm to it made you feel so incredibly sad.
You sat there fixing anything that looked to be coming loose, you had stopped crying after the hole was closed. You put everything away and went back to sitting at your desk. You finished up the essay you needed to have finished for your classes, your stuffed animal sitting right in your lap to comfort you the whole time you typed away.
"Schätzchen? I'm home" (Sweetie) he mumbled as he walked into your office, pulling his hood off and rubbing his temples. "Welcome home." You smiled, not looking up from your screen as you kept typing. "Homework?" He walked behind you, looking at what you were doing, "Yeah, the professor gave us this, and it's due tomorrow." You frowned and looked down at the notes you had for the class, so confused about what more you could write for this 4-page essay. He gently closed your laptop and put it away, placing his hands on your shoulders "Then do it tomorrow, You have been writing for how long now?" you glanced at the clock and sighed "3 hours or so." You mumbled and ran your hand down the fabric of your stuffed animal. "That's enough for today." He smiled, taking the stuffed animal from your lap "Isn't this the stuffed animal from your little childhood memories box?" He smiled, holding it by its arms and swinging it a bit. "Yeah, now stop swinging it!" You groaned and got up to snatch it from him but he held it way above your head "Ok ok I will, do you want to go get some more... this guy is a little busted." He placed his free hand on top of your head a smile on his face. You glared at him, very unhappy with what he had just said about your stuffie
You happily walked beside König as you both made your way to the toy aisle, looking at all of the toys. "Don't get too distracted (Y/N)." He fixed the black surgical mask to fit more comfortably on his face, his heart skipping in his chest as he watched you point at all of the toys that you thought were cool "Can we get this one?" You smiled, holding up a Lego flower set, and waving it from side to side. "Let me see." He took the box and looked at the price, he could feel his wallet cry at the 2 double 0 on the label. "Heilige Scheiße" (Holy shit) He placed the box back on the shelf and pushed you by your shoulders out of that section "Different place...please" He grabbed your hand and walked you to the aisle that had all the stuffies. You didn't even question why he had done that, his reaction told you enough. You looked at almost all of the stuffed animals, pointing out the cutest ones on the shelves.
Your eyes brightened as you spotted one that looked exactly like your stuffed animal at home but this one had a bow tie. "König!" You pulled on his arm, pointing at it on the top shelf.
"I want that one!"
