"Soap, don't let him go out there! I told you its a horrible idea, he gets reckless when he angry!"

You quickly put on your vest, grabbing your guns and the rest of your weapons. You buckled your belt and grabbed your boots, slipping into them as you stumbled towards your car. You held the phone between your ear and your shoulder, going as fast as possible to their location, Soap guiding you to where your husband could be.

The streets were too quiet, the sounds of babies from streets down from the building your team was supposed to clear out.

"I'm heading in, send back up in 10 if I don't come out"

You hung up and shoved your phone in your back pocket, heading into the building and making it up the floors as safely as possible, Why couldn't you have just waited...fucking killing machine.

You opened an office door, the smell of iron filling your lungs. The room was coated in blood, the blood coming from the body on the floor, The blood still seeping from the multiple stab wounds, still fresh. It was as if he was just on this floor. You closed the door and went up the floors. The scenes were just getting worse the more you went up, the walls splattered with blood and glass from struggles against this monster.

"Fucking hell, König!"

You snapped under your breath, opening up the roof access door. The scene in front of you makes you want to flat line. You backed towards the stairs, your husbands back turned towards you, multiple decapitated bodies laying at his feet.

"I found him, get the heli and a medic. I don't know if he is okay or not but I don't want to get any closer."

"Copy that, do you think you could get him to follow you?"

You paused, you felt like you were going to pass out. You never thought you would see such an image in your life, so brutal and inhumane.

"I'm scared."

"Were headed in."

As soon as your radio sounded his head shot to where you were standing. His eyes were bloodshot red and his veil soaked in blood. Maybe some of his own, who knows. You stood there the fear paralyzing you.

He dropped his knife and took a step towards you, his eyes seemingly softening. You didn't move but you watched him as he walked towards you.

"Honey..."

He mumbled when he was close enough to you, right in front of the doors you had opened. You shook your head, you couldn't see the man you loved so dearly right then. His blood soaked uniform and his victims behind him. The bodies were missing their heads, you couldn't believe this was the work of your quiet lover.

"Please don't be scared, don't do this"

He pleaded with you, he took another step closer, you taking one back. You didn't want him to touch you... the hands that made that horrific artwork. His hand reached out towards but he never got the chance to touch you. You turned away, making your way down the stairs and through the bloody hallways. You couldn't stand being there any longer...

You ate your meal in silence you felt disgusted sitting right across from a man who killed so many mercilessly.

"Darling, please talk to me."

He leaned towards you, he had taken off his veil to make you a bit more comfortable. You glanced up at him and shook your head, picking up your plate and washing it off in the sink. Maybe some time alone would be good for the both of you...mostly you

"You killed them like a fucking monster! I thought we agreed to be humane, you beheaded them. You lied to me!"

Your voice was laced with sorrow, tears building up in your eyes.

"I know, It was wrong of me to do such a thing my love. Please stop yelling, I try my best sweetie"

How could he be so calm...It wasn't fair

You turned away from him and changed into your shorts and a t-shirt. You didn't want to talk to him anymore, the image still engraved in your mind.

You got into bed and turned off the lamp, pulling the blanket up and over your head. You expected to feel the bed sink next to you but you didn't just a pillow being taken off the bed. You listened to his steps as he came around to your side.

"(Y/N)..."

He whispered, pulling the blanket down so he could see your face. You glared up at him, anger and a bit of disgust in your eyes. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your forehead.

"I love you."

He let go of the blanket and walked out of the room, shutting the door as he left.

"I love you too"

You mumbled, curling up in the blankets. It would take you a long time to process what had happened but you wouldn't stop loving him. He was still the same man you married...you did promise him

"for better or for worse..."
