"How many more hours"

You nudged him a bit. Both of you were wearing ghillie suits that concealed your body from any enemies in the field but damn was this thing hot. It had been 2 days of waiting there, no sleep, not much movement and you were starving.

"Be quiet, Dreamer."

You had gotten the call name "Dreamer" a while back. You always talked about how you wished things wouldn't be like this, peace among men. You ranted on and on in your notebooks and to König about the life you wished to live after all this fighting was over. How you wanted to live by a lake and have a few kids in a world where they didn't have to be afraid.

Everyone called you crazy for thinking there would ever be an end to the "virus"..the hate and evil in the world. You just wanted to be a piece of the puzzle to end that violence but you knew you were overall just adding to it.

"I'm hungry...When will we be able to withdraw?"

You moved closer to him, moving your rifle closer to his, it was just getting hotter and you wanted to move to a more shady spot in the field. Konig gripped your arm, looking down the hill you both were on.

"Don't move, my shot"

He let go of you and got in position, his finger off the trigger as he aligned his shot with the target, guiding his gun till the target stopped for a second.

"Got ya."

His finger quickly pulled the trigger, the silencer doing a very good job of not blowing out your eardrums. As soon as the body dropped limply you smiled, your hand going for his arm but you were stopped by a sharp object on your throat.

"Decoy did a number on giving your spot away."

You looked up to see another ghillie-suited soldier above you. He didn't seem to notice König next to you, he was still as a rock. You took in a deep breath as you closed your eyes.

"Get up. Drop your weapons."

You felt cold metal being pressed to the back of your head. You quickly got up and dropped every single weapon you had on you. Your hands up as the man snaked his hands towards your face, yanking the hood of your ghillie suit off.

"Oh shit, you're a lady. Damn...good shot for a girl"

You felt a bit insulted by his comment but you only looked away. Damn maybe if he does take me out I'll be able to get some Mc Donalds. You felt his knife rip at your ghillie suit, letting it fall off of you and collecting at your feet.

"Damn it. That was my good one too."

You get the barrel of his gun hit the top of your head and then across your face. Damn. What did I do? You shut your mouth tight, glaring up at the man who had just hit you.

"Don't care, hands behind your head. Also, shut the fuck up before you get metal in your mouth."

You glanced at the ground where König lay, he was moving away slowly when you had him distracted. Hurry up. You placed your hands behind your head, and the man immediately cuffed you, your legs also.

"Got the sniper, it's a pretty little lady. Can't believe they sent a woman to kill ya."

"Ha! Idiots, a woman could never kill me. Pathetic, bring her back so I can have a word with the so-called sniper."

You held your breath, was König really going to let this guy take you? What was he even waiting for? The shot could have been set off minutes ago. You looked to the ground again and saw no sign of König. Oh shit...He's a genius.

You hadn't even noticed him crawl behind the man but it was so obvious when he stood up, the rifle gently tapping his shoulder.

The man looked behind him, his cocky expression going straight to absolute terror.

"Gute Nacht!"

Konig smiled from under his hood, his voice a bit cherry. The muzzle of his gun pressed right up against his skull. Like before the silencer did its job. The body hit the floor as soon as he pulled the trigger. You wiggled around a bit so you were fully facing König, a happy smile on your face.

"Big boy to my rescue! Come on now! Get me out of these."

You smiled, his hands going to the cuffs on your ankles. He set your feet free from their restraints but he did nothing more than that. He picked up all of your discarded weapons, putting them all back onto you.

"We know the target isn't here, let's retreat."

"We can get food when we get back right?"

He rolled his eyes and pulled you up by the handcuffs, shaking his head.

"I don't know yet, eating should be the least of your concern. You don't have much cover right now so stay close. Don't complain when I have to lay on top of you if you get us spotted."
