"A competition?" Akito asked.

An nodded her head in conformation. "Yep! We sing together and whoever gets the most money wins!"

y/n cracked her knuckles and craned her head around. "I'm down." She said confidently.

"I'd like to try this out, as well." Toya said calmly.

"I'll do it as long as I can be partners with An-chan!" Kohane said, averting her gaze to her best friend.

An nodded in agreement.

"If Kohane is going with An, I'm going with Toya." Akito said.

Toya gave y/n a glance embedded with a question, and she gave a blink of approval in return. "Alright."

y/n placed her hand on her hip. "I'll fly solo."

Within a few minutes, each person was stationed in the most popular spots on Vivid Street for street singers.

They all began at once, each of the Vivids singing with their partner.

An and Kohane settled with Odo, dancing in the intervals of lyrics.

Toya and Akito went for Ifuudoudou, filling in KAITO's parts with a duet. The two boys also used the choreographed dance to attract more people.

As for y/n, she plopped herself onto the speaker, plugged into her guitar. She tuned it slightly, then tooled around with the speaker.

At last, she lightly strummed the strings of the guitar, welcoming her voice to sing SIU.

[Kohane and An]

"hanpa nara K.O. fuwafuwa shitai nara douzo..."

An sang her heart out, loud and clear. She closed her eyes and let her voice take control of her mind, body, heart and soul.

She loved this feeling. It made her feel free, like life was a playground and she was the child.

She opened her eyes again, glancing at Kohane.

She, too, sang her heart out, though it didn't come out as loud and clear as An's voice.

But that was okay.

So long as the two enjoyed singing — together, no less — it didn't matter to An how good or bad they sounded to the audience.

[Toya and Akito]

"iranai subete wa iranai migaki ageteru jama na PRIDE..."

Toya sang and danced endlessly, as was Akito.

Despite the simplistic complexity of singing and dancing, and how tiring it made them, they were still grinning with joy.

In the middle of the dance, Toya stood still, his hand above his eyes like he was shading them from the sun.

He resumed to the dance as his part came in, moving full-heartedly with the music.
