"I'm telling you, y/n, you have to talk to her again! You can't just leave your relationship with your sister like that!" An exclaimed after hearing y/n's story.

The group was sitting on the rooftop during lunch time, and everyone but y/n was eating. She was pacing around nervously, trying to think of a way to either end things with Hana/Sana or... make things better.

"Actually, she could..."

"You're not helping the point, Akito!" An scolded him.

"I'm just saying." He shrugged and resumed drinking a can of soda.

y/n stopped in her tracks and threw her hands up in frustration, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Ugh, why can't she just disappear?! Why'd she even have to show her damn face again?!"

"You can't say that, y/n.. At least look at the good side of things..." Kohane answered in a meek voice.

"What good thing is there to see in this case? My sister, who I thought was dead, appears, happens to be the girl that stole my ex from me when I used to care for him, and thinks we'll be fine?" She let out another huff of air before adding on, "At least I've got someone else to love now."

"That's exactly the point, y/n!" An exclaimed. "If it weren't for her, you never would've met Toya, and he'd never have grabbed your hand when you wanted to jump off your balcony, and you two would have never been together!"

"But she didn't physically introduce me to Yagi! She just happened to be there when I first met him."

An then smirked at y/n. "As if destiny put her there, huh? I mean, it could have been anyone else!"

"Exactly! It could have been anyone e—"

"But of all people, it was your sister. It sounds real bad, but doesn't it sound a little more than a coincidence?"

y/n scoffed. "Oh come on, An. Are you saying it's fate, or something? Like the stars have aligned, and some amazing prophecy has been fulfilled?"

An raised her eyebrows, giving y/n a cheesy smirk.

"You're so romantic." y/n scoffed, finally sitting down to eat her food. After shoving a piece of meat in her mouth, she turned to Toya, who sat quietly beside her, reading a book.

y/n watched him silently as his blue-grey eyes scanned the page before flipping onto the next one.

"What're your thoughts, Yagi?" She said after a while, not specifying on the topic, but not needing to. Despite looking as if absorbed in the book, which he was, she also knew he was listening into the conversation.

"I agree with Shiraishi. You should talk to her again."

"I—"

"I know you won't like it. But I'd much rather what's hard now but is easy later than the other way around. Especially for someone like you."

y/n frowned slightly. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Toya laughed gently as he folded the corner of the page in his book before setting it down on the ground and turning to face y/n. "It means, I want the best for you. Even if it doesn't seem like it right now.

Is that too much to ask for, love?"

(An was basically shaking the poor soul out of Kohane, fangirling over their interaction. Akito watched everything happen with an expression that screamed, "these weirdos.")
