Happily Ever After???

Kidnapped

Carmen sighed happily and rested against the stove top. Gray joined her at her side and rested his hand on hers. "Can you believe she's already 5?! She growing up so fast!" Gray kissed Carmen's cheek, "Yea, no kidding! Soon our little Crimson Shadow  won't be a little shadow anymore. 

Carmen groaned, "Don't even say that, I want her to stop growing," Carmen sighed defeated, "Just like I have no control over how big our family gets." A smirk slowly dawns upon he face. Gray looked at her, worried, "What do you mean?" 

Carmen fishes inside her pocket and pulls out a positive Pregnancy Test. "I'm pregnant," Carmen smiles. Gray's mouth drops and laughs with glee. "Oh my gosh! This is amazing!! Carmen!" Gray grabs her waist and hoists her up in the air before bring her down and kisses her. "This is amazing news, Carmen," Gray whispers in her ear. 

The two stay like that, in each others arms, in a tight embrace, with the soft song of the birds in the background. 

"You know, I know what I want for my birthday present," Scarlett says as she comes out the dark hallway. 

Carmen and Gray break their embrace haf-ly; Carmen lays her head and hand on Grays chest, leaving Gray hand to com across her shoulder. Gray smirk and laughed, "Oh really? What do you want?"

"A baby brother," Scarlett replied.

Gray looks at Carmen and Carmen looks at Gray. Carmen holds out her hand, indecating for Scarlett to come closer. "I'm pregnant." Scarlett's eyes widen and glow. She starts to jump up and down wooping and hollering. 

Gray looks at his watch and suck air through his teeth, "They should be arriving right about now, Crimson and I are gonna welcome our guests while you finish with the food." Carmen nods. 

Gray leans towards her and plant a soft delicate kiss on her lips. Carmen knelt down and gave a kiss on Scarlett's head, making her whine, "Mammaaa!! You'r messing up my hair!" To tease, Carmen ruffled her daughter hair a little before straightening out the loose strands. 

Carmen continues to cook the Ground Beef and put seasoning on it. She hear the Back Door near the kitchen open. "You're supposed to use the front door Zach!" She calls out to the open space. Carmen expected to hear Ivy's familiar voice saying, "See, Zach! I told you! This door is off limits!" Or. . . something along those lines, but instead she hears a frightening familiar voice, "Hello, Lambkins, or should I say Black Sheep?" 

Carmen's heart sunk to the bottom of her rib cage when she saw who it was, Coach Brunt. "How did you find me?" She didn't let her fear overcome her dominance. 

Coach Brunt laughed, "Oh it was easy! You always leave a little Red Trail for us to find you!" 

Carmen thinks for a moment to call to Gray, but as far as V.I.L.E. is concerned he died from the Dark Red Caper. Her calling to him would only risk his life, and Scarlett's. Carmen was on her own. "You're making a big mistake, Coach Brunt!" 

"No, I don't think I am," Coach Brunt chuckles. 

Carmen straightens out her stance and faces Coach Brunt. Coach Brunt lunges and Carmen ducks out the way, but it's too late. She's too much out of practice. Carmen lets out a scream and immediately realized her mistake. "No, no, no, no, no!" She panicked. Coach Brunt brings Carmen into a choke hold and whispers in her ear, "Where is she?" 

Carmen gulped, "I don't know who you're talking about."  Coach Brunt yanks her, "Yes, you do! Where's the child that's been running around in this house?!" 

Scarlett. "ANSWER ME, CHILD!!" Brunt tightens her grip. Carmen risks lying though she know it'll be useless, "There is no child in this house, I only live here." 

Tiny footsteps echoed from the hallway and into the Kitchen where Carmen and Coach Brunt were. "Mamma? You okay? Daddy and I heard you scream and he sent me to check-" 

Scarlett froze in fear. "Mamma?" She calls. Carmen looks at her daughter wondering if it's gonna be the last time she'll see her. "Scarlett, baby, I love you so much! Go to your father, now!" Carmen pleads. Scarlett makes her way to the hallway to get Gray, but the cleaner pop out of nowher and put a bag over her head. Scarlett starts to screams frantically, calling for her mother and father.

"SCARLETT!!" Carmen shouts after her daughter. The Cleaners have her hauled over her shoulders, making their way to the door. "SCARLETT!! NOO!" Carmen struggles against her captor. She's then feels something collide with her head. "Bye-Bye, Lambkins!" Is the last word she hears before helplessly falling to the floor.
