Several weeks passed as Hazel and Claude began to get closer.

They weren't completely unlike and they both were beginning to understand that no matter what their differences they had.

Claude had started to naturally protect her and with that, he became naturally possessive the more he began to realise how innocent Hazel was.

He had seen hell and she had seen neither heaven nor hell yet.

It was in the middle of the day as Hazel stood in her bathroom as she took pain killer.

She had started her period and she didn't want to leave her room as she didn't know what Claude would do.

She looked at herself in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom before playing the movie she was watching.

Hazel had always kept to herself about everything as she knew the only person she could trust was herself no matter how tough that was to realise.

Hazel laid on her bed before placing her fluffy blanket over her body before cocooning herself in the fluff.

Claude had started to bring her things if he went out of the mansion.

Some were from requests and others were because he wanted to give her something.

It could be to cheer her up or other things and it made her melt every time as she knew that she was slowly starting to unlock that lock in his mind and soul.

She watched her movie before there was a knock at her door.

She stayed quiet as she heard Claude shift on the other side of the door.

"Hazel," he said.

She stayed quiet hoping he would think she was asleep.

Suddenly the door opened causing her to groan softly.

"I don't like it when you fucking ignore me," he said as he walked up to her.

"I'm a little tired.

Can we talk later?" she asked.

"What's wrong?" he said.

She looked at him "I'm fine" she said.

"Don't fucking lie to me Hazel" he said.

She looked into his emerald green eyes "It's my time of the month and I want to be alone so I don't have to hear your comments" she said softly not meaning it to come out malicious.

They looked at each other before she turned away preparing for what he was going to say next.

"What do you need?" he asked.

Hazel laid there confused before looking at him again.

"I've got everything.

You told me not to lie to you" she said softly.

She suddenly hissed as her cramps hit her like a truck.

She had to wait thirty minutes for the painkiller to kick in which made time only go slower as she thought about each second and minute.

"You're hurt," he said.

"No, I'm ok.

It's just cramps.

In thirty minutes I'll be fine" she said.

"You're really suffering aren't you?" he asked.

"A little yeah," she asked before freezing as he started to get under her blanket.

"What are you doing?" she asked before melting into her bed as he placed his hands on her abdomen where the pain was.

She smiled before looking at him "I didn't think you would care" she said.

"I do care about you no matter how much I hate that I do.

You're a weakness" he said.

"Yet you don't block me out like you used to," she said.

"I enjoy having you around alright.

Is that enough or do you want me to tell you more?" he said as he became slightly irritated.

He still wasn't used to her asking so many questions that he didn't answer before meeting her.

" That's enough.

That you" she said before placing her head on his chest causing his heart to become lodged in his throat.

She was his one weakness and if anything happened to her he would burn the world to ash.
