Day 2

Pitou and I have been cuddling the entire night, and as such, my legs were stiff when we had to get up to find Jovesworth to start making more spell cards. Pitou had decided that she wanted to try her paw at inventing her own spell cards before we settled in this land, some based on her abilities. Liking the idea, I I encouraged her to try it out, and even suggested that she called them 'nyen spells' instead of 'nen spells.' She didn't seem to understand why I suggested it, though she didn't seem to mind either. In any case, the professor had already found a suitable spot in the future castle to conjure the warehouse. Heading inside, we wave to the professor as he reads one of the books on the warehouse shelves. After that, we gather the materials needed to craft the spells, as well as the grimoire, and get to work in the warehouse.

"Alright, for the first spell... how about Kitty Protec?" I suggest.

"... What?" Pitou asks in confusion.

"Kitty Protec." I repeat, not seeing any problem.

She tilts her head, inquiring "Do you mean 'protect,' Allie?"

"No." I shake my head, explaining "Protec, no tee at the end. Why you may ask? Because it's more fun and cute that way."

She just chuckles at my dumb response. "Right, I forgot who I was talking to for a moment. Alright, I'll bite. What do you have in mind for this 'Kitty Protec' spell?"

Grinning ear-to-ear, I propose "Summoning a big chubby cat that acts as a shield, though is unable to attack anyone! Brilliant, right?"

Shaking her head and snickering, she relents to my dumb idea. "Sure, Allie. I'm sure it could be useful in some sort of situation... maybe. So what's your next idea? Kitty Attac perhaps?"

I nod to confirm her thought. "Yep, summons a tiger as a nen beast to attack our foes."

Pitou taps her chin at this one, saying "Hm, not bad actually. That could provide a tactical advantage for the lower ranked ants. Meow then, what shou-"

I cut her off and yell "Kitty Reflec!"

Sighing, she asks reluctantly "What would that one do?"

"Simple, conjures a cat shaped mirror that reflects nen attacks back at the enemy. Best used against projectiles."

"Okay then, a smart idea actually. But lets get serious with the names."

"I have never been more serious!"

She just smirks at my response, telling me "You're lucky that you're so pretty."

I then get a smug grin on my face.

"Okay, how about something that I'm already able to do. Perhaps putting Doctor Blythe into a spell for others to use? It would be easier for me if others could use the ability. Since you've been sooooooo great at naming the 'nyen spells,' what should we call this one?" she asks with playful sarcasm.

Without missing a beat, I choose "Kitty Fic. Fic as in 'fix.' Easy!"

"Kitty Fic it is then. Let's see, how about my Puppeteering next?"

"Kitty Resurrec."

"Alright. Meow then, last spell for the time being. Hmmmmm..."

"How about something that mimics your en? We could call it Kitty Detec." I suggest.

Scratching her chin again, she says "It would be difficult, but it's probably doable. I imagine it would have to be stationary. That said, it would be useful for scouting. Alright, I think that's enough new spells for meow, why don't you work on making some of the old spells while I start to develop the new ones?""
