At the throne room entrance

I make my way up to the castle throne throne room, scarcely taking my eyes off the blue blood on my hand, trying to rationalize my earlier thought. Maybe it's just an obscure nen ability of some kind... Maybe I'm hallucinating or dreaming... Maybe- This line of thinking is cut off when I reached the throne room door, Pitou standing right outside.

"Allie..." she says.

I snap out of my thoughts and look up at her when she says my nickname. "Hm?"

She looks to my hand and then back to me.

"You saw that, didn't you?"

Pitou just nods to me.

"So this isn't just my imagination? Is this blood..." I start.

"A chimera ant's? Yes." she finishes. "If I'm wrong, which is highly unlikely, I am still confident that it is certainly not human blood." She then opens the door for me, and I enter the throne room.

Upon entering, I notice Meruem discussing something with Bizeff and Pouf. I don't catch any of the conversation's details as the King's gaze is quickly fixed on my bloody hand. "What happened? Why are you bleeding?" he asks.

"This isn't my blood, it's Harey's." I answer truthfully.

His eyes widen after my response, and he abruptly walks toward me, slapping me with the back of his hand, forcing me to crash into one of the walls. "Are you trying to undermine all of our efforts in rebuilding the kingdom, Alejandro?"

I wasn't bleeding before like the King thought, but I can taste lots of my blood now as I climb out from the rubble of the wall he smacked me into. "No sire. When Harey kicked Bat and Cheetu... I just... I couldn't let that slide in good conscience." I respond, curling my bloody hand into a fist just from thinking about that guy again. "For what little it is worth, Harey is still alive, and Hound says that our deal was not affected."

"And you think that excuses your actions?" Meruem asks furiously.

I don't get a chance to answer before Pitou interjects. "Pardon my interruption, sire, and with all due respect, but I believe that while Allie's actions were brash, they did help to reveal something rather important to us. Please take another look at the blood on his hand again, if you will."

The King reigns in his anger for a moment to look back at my hand, quickly coming to the same realization as Pitou and I have. "Right, I see..." He then walks over to sit upon the new throne, which is hardly a throne at all, just the most impressive chair we could find that is stable. "Pouf, bring Donny here, I wish for him to be present for the discussion..." Meruem orders.

"At once, King Meruem." Pouf responds dutifully before heading out to find Donny.

As Pouf exits the room, the King returns his gaze to me. "As for you..." he starts.
