The previous night turned out to be quite hard for both the boys,

For Soobin, who had suffered due to nightmares, cried in sleep, stifled in the bed, and,

For Yeonjun, who tried to assure the boy, by whispering the same sweet nothings, trying to let him know he was here, and he wasn't going anywhere else.

As the morning sun drew on, over the horizon, Yeonjun, who hadn't managed to sleep much and lay there beside the boy, in his senses enough to hold onto the boy, every time Soobin shook in his sleep,

He carefully stood up, pushing a pillow in between Soobin's arms, covering him up with the sheets, and quietly moving to pull down the blinds to block out the early morning sunshine,

He then, once again checked the boy, pressing a kiss to his forehead, and making sure he didn't close the door all the way through, he walked out, clutching at his phone, dialing Seok Jin's number,

And whilst Yeonjun stood staring outside the kitchen's round window, outside at the people leaving their houses for their jobs, and whilst the kettle turned hot with the water boiling inside of it,

He explained to Seokjin to let Soobin take a leave for the day, he didn't go into much detail but the elderly male understood probably due to his tone, and didn't bother to ask anymore,

Seokjin assured Soobin could stay back home, for as long as he wished, and that he'd let Heesung know and the others to not disturb them.

Once through, as Yeonjun poured the steaming water into their matching cups, a blue and a white, and as he dropped the sachets of flavored tea, he took out an optional bottle of almond milk from the fridge, dropping behind a message to Boemgyu and assigning himself a leave.

He knew Boemgyu would understand, they all did and he felt thankful once again to be acquainted with people like them.

Walking back inside, holding onto the tray that held two steaming cups of hibiscus tea and an additional bottle of almond milk along with a straw,

With cookies resting in the corner, different flavors, all baked and kept in tiny little packets by Soobin,
