After getting to know more about Wangji, Xiao Ying's love for him grew more. They both love and care for each other so much and are willing to protect each other. Xiao Ying was out working on his sword training and was happy. He was happy his skills were improving so well, but he was happy that he has an amazing soulmate. Though he was training, he was too distracted in it that he didn't see someone else standing off nearby. He soon felt something pierce his neck and he felt tired. He had enough strength to put his sword away but then he passed out.

He didn't know how long he was out, but when he woke, in was in a concrete cell. He was hung with chains against the wall and faced the door. It was a metal door with metal bars. This room, Xiao Ying could tell was enchanted. It was to try to suppress his abilities. Xiao Ying was an immortal being, so it wasn't going to work. Xiao Ying scoffed at how dumb these people are for not doing their research on nine tail foxes.

He decided to pretend he has no abilities to see what was going on. He used his soul-link with Wangji to help guide Wangji to him to save him. He just hoped Wangji knew what to do. Just then two people entered the room, Jin Guangyao and Su MinShan. They saw that Xiao Ying was awake and wanted to see what this fox was made of.

"Hello Xiao Ying," Jin Guangyao greeted.

"You," Xiao Ying said angrily, "you have my father's tail...and you know what I am. This Lan traitor is the reason why I am here."

"You are indeed smart Xiao Ying, and this tail," Jin Guangyao said holding it out, "is indeed beautiful. I have your mother's tail as well."

"You do realize that forcibly taking a nine tailed fox's tail will curse you and your entire bloodline, past, present, and future, and it will never lift," Xiao Ying told him, "not unless you make amends with what you did, but I can see you have no remorse for killing my parents."

"I didn't take part in killing then, my father did, he just gave me and my half-brother two tails each. One from your father and one from your mother," Jin Guangyao explained.

"You are still related by blood, so you and your family are forever cursed," Xiao Ying said, "especially for taking the king and queen of the nine tail fox tribe. And with me as their son, I am next in line. Your life will end miserably."

That seemed to have spooked both of the men, but Jin Guangyao didn't let it show too much, "I doubt that. You will do as I say to stay alive or I can kill you now."

"Good luck, you cannot kill me," Xiao Ying said, "I'm sure your Er-Ge wouldn't love you anymore if you killed his brother's fox."

Jin Guangyao again, was taken aback. He looked concerned, "just do as I say."

"I will not," Xiao Ying said, "do you really think this room can keep my powers sealed?" The two paled. Xiao Ying's eyes yes began to glow red, the chains that bound him turned to ash, letting Xiao Ying down to his feet. His hands burst into flames, "who should I kill first?"

The two tried to run only for Xiao Ying to take out his sword from thin air and pierce Jin Guangyao in the back, running through his heart and out of his chest. Xiao Ying then removed the sword and killed Su MinShan the same way, but through the chest and out the back.

Xiao Ying used his abilities to open the door and then he killed his way out of the dungeon he was in. His life was threatened and he was driven to kill everyone in his path that meant him harm and that killed his parents. He was clouded with hate and anger. Without Wangji by his side to help calm him down, Xiao Ying would only get worse, almost feral. As he left the dungeons, he used a large amount of energy to open every one of the cells. Letting every criminal free.

Xiao Ying found that he was in the Jin Sect. He then made his way to Glamour Hall. There he spotted Jin Guangshan with a couple women on his lap, feeding him fruit and pouring him wine. One was even fool enough to be blowing him out in the open.

"Jin Guangshan, the man who killed my parents," Xiao Ying said, "you seem to be living large with a woman's mouth around your cock."

Jin Guangshan froze in his seat to see the fox he had locked up standing before him, "who let you out?" He asked angrily.

"You really are so stupid," Xiao Ying said, "you think a simple suppression talisman can stop an immortal being of over twenty thousand years old? If so you really are naive. Everyone in my way that was in the dungeon, is dead. All of your cells were opened and I set them all free. Whether they are real criminals or not, they are free. This is karma for killing my parents. A curse that falls upon you and your bloodline, past, present, and future, never to be freed from it."

"You cannot do this to me! I am superior to you, you dumb fox!" Jin Guangshan yelled and stood up.

Xiao Ying smirked as his eyes landed between Jin Guangshan's legs. Taking our three soul piercing needles, Xiao Ying used his abilities and sent them to Jin Guangshan. The needles pierced Jin Guangshan's length and castrated him. Blood pouring out of him.

"Now you can't have anymore illegitimate children," Xiao Ying said, "I will have to make sure that you are put in your place for harming the prince of the Qing Qiu Nine Tail Fox tribe and killing the king and queen. So it seems, you are inferior, not superior to me."

Jin Guangshan was going to call his guards when several people marched in. They were various people from the opposing sects, Nie Mingjue, Lan Xichen, and Lan Wangji leading the group. Xiao Ying's clouded mind cleared the moment he felt Wangji's tranquil presence.

He turned and ran to him, "Zhan-Ge!" He cried, "I did bad, don't leave me."

"You defended yourself, I am here now, if you are tired, you can sleep, I will be here with you when you wake," Wangji said.

"Jin Guangyao and Su MinShan are dead, Wen Ruohan is still left alive," Xiao Ying said.

"It is okay, just rest," Wangji said as he picked him up and looked at his brother, "I am going to get him out of here."

"Get him to the healers, he should get looked at," Xichen said, "Baoshan should be there shortly."

Wangji nodded and left with Xiao Ying cradled in his arms.
