Some Things Never Change (Chapter 11)

Hitoshi POV

  I wake up to my alarm clock going off, I turn it off and lay there, I was dreading today. By now everyone in the whole school, if not the whole town, knew I was pregnant. I force myself out of bed and got ready for classes for the day, today was going to be horrible. I put a handle on my stomach and gently rubbed it, "It's okay, little one, I'll protect you no matter what," I say in a soft voice. I leave my dorm room and headed to class, ignoring the weird looks and looks of disgust from my classmates that were still in the dorm. As I walk through the crowded hallways, people split apart and stayed away as if I was the plague, it reminded me of when I was younger and discovered my quirk. 

  As I walked down the hallways all I heard were disgusting rumors, comments, and words spreading or being thrown at me. "Hey Shinsou, if I knew you spread your legs so easily we could have been good acquaintances," someone says as I walk past "I bet he used his quirk on the other parent to get pregnant," another person says "I didn't know he was such a whore," another says. I was disgusted and horrified by all that people said, how could high schoolers be so disgusting and villainous? "I bet the child's other parent is a villain," someone says "Then the child would be raised by 2 villains," another responds, "Ew who would touch him willingly," another person says and they just continued. I entered my old or now new classroom, I went to my old desk that was pushed into a corner of the room, old disgusting words still written on it. I put my head down and waited for classes to begin, I just wanted this day to end already.

  The last bell rang and I quickly ran out of class to my dorm room, I got weird looks and I even heard some of my old classmates of 2-A call for me but I ignored them. I slammed the door to my dorm room and started sobbing while leaning against the door, this was a nightmare. I thought the rumors, the words, the comments, and the bullying ended but no, it only got worse. I heard my phone start going off, I quickly cleaned myself and got it out of my bad before answering it. "Hello," I say into the phone 'Hello, is this Hitoshi uhm Shinsou-Aizawa-Yamada-Shirakumo,' they ask confused about the last name. I smile before clearing my voice "Yes, this is, who is this," I ask 'Hi, this is Dr. Nozomi, I'm your doctor,' they respond "Ah, yes Dr. Nozomi is there something I can help you with," I ask. 'I just wanted to let you know when your next check-up is, I want you to come in next Tuesday at 4:30 for an ultrasound if that works for you,' they say "Yes, that works perfectly," I respond 'Do you have any questions,' they ask. "Ah yes, how many people are allowed to be in the ultrasound room," I ask 'You can have up 2 people enter with you, is that all,' they answer "Yes, thank you, have a good day," I say before hanging up.

  I sighed before changing and washing my face, I didn't want my baby to hear all those nasty things people said today so I sat there for a minute thinking about what I could do. I decided to go to Momo and ask her to make me some pregnancy headphones for the baby. I left my dorm, avoiding and ignoring all my classmates as well as anyone in the halls. I went to the 2-A dorms and entered, they didn't mind, everyone looked at the door confused but they changed to happy expressions seeing me. "Shinsou," they all exclaimed happily, "We miss you," Kaminari says while crying "I've only been gone for half a day," I said laughing slightly. The one thing I hate about class 2-A is that they knew when something was wrong it was part of what they were preparing for. "What's wrong," Ojiro asks worriedly, everyone else also noticed and when also worried, they weren't their normal happy selves. "Huh, oh nothing," I say trying to fake a happy tone and not like I was crying 10 minutes ago, "Oi, eyebags, there is something wrong," Bakugou hisses. "It's nothing, just uhm you know uhm everything just sort of went back to normal from back before I joined the hero course," I say smiling softly but sadly "You mean the bullying," Tsu says "The harassment," Tokoyami adds "The rumors," Kirishima also adds "The bruises," Bakugou also adds bluntly but angrily. I nod slowly, avoiding eye contact, "Is that why your cheek is slightly bruised," Tenya says slightly touching my cheek. I quickly swatted his hand away as he touched it carefully, "Who did it," Sho asks "And when," Midoriya also asks both of their voices were clear with anger. "Just some stupid old bully, he corned me in my room, he just hit me and pushed me down, I'm fine, we both are, I hit him back," I say in a low voice, I was slightly scared, I felt cornered but I needed to get what I came here for. "What else happened," Tenya asks his voice filled with anger "Just stupid rumors and comments, it's nothing, it's nothing compared to what I went through before," I say swatting them all away. "I just came here to talk to Momo, okay, please stop cornering me," I say crossing my arms over my chest, a way I do to express I was stressed and insecure. "We're sorry," Sho apologized, and the other apologies follows, "It's okay, I know y'all just care for me, Momo can I please," I say looking at Momo, she nods and we leave. We go to the stairway of the dorm to add a little privacy "What do you need," she asks "Can you... can you make me pregnancy headphones," I ask looking down. She frowns "Shinsou," she says sadly, "Everything everyone says is awful, I don't want my baby to hear all the things I am called," I say sadly, she sighs sadly before nodding. She makes them before me and hands them to me, "Thank you so much, this means a lot," I say smiling, she nods and smiles "I know it does," she responds.

  We leave the stairway joining the rest of the class in the quiet common room, "I'll be going now, it was great seeing y'all," I say waving and smiling softly. "Visit often, Shin," Mina says smiling brightly, "We'll miss you," Uraraka says "I'm not leaving permanently," I say laughing. "Oh, also Tenya," I say, he smiles and walks over to me, "We have a doctor's appointment next Tuesday at 4:30, you get to see and hear our baby for the first time," I said smiling brightly. He smiles brightly and kisses me passionately "Oh, I can't wait," he says, I smile and peck his lips before leaving. I, unwillingly, go back to my respected dorm, as I enter everyone in the kitchen and the common room goes quiet. I ignored them and their rude comments, I arrived outside of my dorm before being pushed to the ground. "Watch it whore," the bully from the day before hisses at me before laughing, I roll my eyes before getting up and entering my room. I lay the headphones on my desk before turning on cartoons, I lay on my bed and slowly fell asleep.
