"Do you like this" Leah asks while holding up a short black and white dress
"Um I don't know.." I say while looking at the length one more time "It's way too short" I say and Leah huffs
"I have basically shown you my entire wardrobe" she groans
"What about this?" Sia says while holding up a summery blue dress with tiny white polka dots. It has a lovely white flowery pattern along the bottom and a beautiful heart-shaped neckline.
"Look it's not too short either" Sia says while holding the dress in front of her body. It reaches her mid thighs which would be perfect for me to wear.
"I like it" I say and they both smile
"Here try it on" Sia says while handing me the dress.
The two girls finish getting ready as I carefully slide the dress up my body and tie the straps around my neck.
"Wow" Sia says when she looks at me.
"Oh my god you do look great" Leah smiles "Come look in this mirror"
When I take in my appearance, I immediately smile and turn to hug Sia. "It's beautiful thank you" I say into her hair.
"You're welcome now can we leave, I would actually like to attend my own party" She says and nudges me playfully
As soon as I am outside, I head towards my car but Leah stops me.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going with my car"
"Why?Come ride with us"
"I don't know I want to take my car just in case I feel like going home early" I know I'm not going to want to stay there. I'm just going for Sia.
"Just come with us we won't be long" Leah says
"Yeah just get in the car" Sia says from behind
"Alright um I guess I'll come"
When we drive towards the parking lot of the club, my heart starts to pound tremendously fast. There has got to be at least 50 people waiting in line, not including anyone inside.
Why did I come again?
"It's packed" Sia says while looking out her window.
"That's when it's the best" Leah says with a smile while parking her car.
I hope everyone keeps to themselves here...
"Come on let's go" Sia says excitedly and practically jumps out of the car.
I nervously fumble for the handle and open it with shaky fingers. Fortunately for me, I am not wearing heals. If I did, I would have fallen by now.
When we walk towards the door, Leah heads straight to the front of the line instead of waiting in the back. She casually cuts in front of everyone and walks towards the bouncer. I have no idea what she whispers to him but he nods and unhooks the red rope allowing us to pass through.
"See, I told you I could get us in easy" Leah says with a grin and walks in front of us, gesturing us to follow behind.
As soon as we are in, my heart starts to pound incredibly fast. The music is painfully loud and there is way too many people. There has got to be at least three hundred, if not, more. Yes this place is huge but I feel as if I'm trapped inside a crowd of swaying bodies dancing and grinding against each other.
"Oh look they are all sitting over there" Sia says while pointing to a large booth straight ahead.
As soon as we approach them, two of the girls stand and grab Sia's hands
"We have waited forever" the blonde shouts over the music "Lets go dance"
"What? Right now? I just got here" Sia says and tries to sit but Leah stops her
"I want to dance" Leah says with a grin and helps the two girls pull her to the dance floor. "Come on it's your birthday"
"Alright, alright" Sia giggles and holds Leah's hand "Wait, Kira come dance with us!" Sia says and laughs when Leah tickles her to get her to follow.
"Its okay Im fine but you go dance and have fun" I say as politely as possible.
She frowns but when Leah kisses her cheek, she instantly lights up and follows her to the dance floor.
"They are so adorable" Jova says with a smile
"I know" I say and slide into the booth with her. It's just us two in this booth right now because everyone is currently on the dance floor. I think if I were to go with them, I may pass out.
"You look amazing" Jova shouts "Why aren't you dancing?"
"Oh thank you but dancing isn't my thing" I say and ask "Why aren't you?"
"I don't know know" she sighs and places her elbows on the table and rests her head on top of her hand.
"What's wrong"
"Nothing i'm fine" she smiles but somehow I know she's lying
We sit here for a couple of minutes without saying a word. When I look at her, she's eyeing something and frowning. She looks so sad and hurt but why?
Who is she looking at?
When I look up to see why she could be upset, my heart burns for her when i realize that she is staring at Liam and Toria sitting by the bar.
I didn't know Toria was here...
Does she like Liam?
"Hey Jova" I ask
"Hmm"
"Is it because of someone?" I ask and clarify "You know, the reason you're upset?" I say and she looks at me with sad eyes then nods
"Liam?"
"What? How did you know?"
"I think i could tell" I say and she smiles slightly " Do you want to talk about it?"
"Maybe another time" she says and adds "Trust me, if I started, I would never
stop talking" she shouts over the music and smiles
"When do you ever stop talking" Leah says out of no where while sliding into the booth. "Did I tell you how she always talks non stop" Leah giggles
"Where did you come from?" Jova asks Leah as the girls scoot inside the booth
"You just popped out of freaking nowhere"
Leah rolls her eyes and starts telling us about something funny that just happened on the dance floor. As she's telling her story, my eyes drift over to the bar and immediately stop when they land on familiar pair green eyes staring back at me from across the room.
