"The Dark Lord would go around to different areas that creatures would inhabit to try and recruit them, promising them freedom from the laws that the Ministry had established." Eden said, walking around the front of the classroom. Archer was doodling on her paper, still paying attention. Harry was playing with a paper bird, keeping it aloft in the air. "Are you two paying attention?" Eden asked the two. "Dad would go around to find creatures, trying to recruit them, promising them freedom from the grasp the Ministry laws had on them." The twins said, at the same time.
Eden was dumbfounded, had they read each other's mind? "Erm, yes, very good." She simply said. The door swung open, and Draco walked in, dragging a whining Hermione. "We're going to get in trouble!" Hermione exclaimed. "Did we miss anything? We came as fast as we could!" Draco asked, ignoring the brunette's whines. Harry let his wand drop down, the bird dropping to the floor. "Dragon!" He said, running up to Draco, hugging him. The other three noticed the red tint flushing over his face, and Archer sniggered.
"You two are just in time, we just started the lesson." Eden said, motioning to the empty seats. "Harry, you can let go of Draco now, he needs to sit down." Harry groaned, but instead of letting go, he simply dragged Draco to a seat, plopped him down, and sat on his lap. Archer laughed at Draco and Eden's shocked faces. Hermione giggled slightly, and Eden just shook her head. "Now, as I was saying," Eden turned to the blackboard, grabbing a small piece of chalk. "Some of these creatures that the Dark Lord wanted to recruit were Trolls, Giants, Dementors, Centaurs, Werewolves, and Vampires. The Dementors agreed to follow him, but stayed working for the Ministry." Eden wrote down a chart for each creature on the board.
Hermione wrote down notes, and Draco kept squirming under Harry, his face flushed. "The Werewolves and Vampires agreed instantly, but the Trolls and Giants were a bit more hesitant." Eden paused and looked around, her eyes landing on Draco. "Are you alright, Draco?" She asked him. He simply nodded his head and buried his face in Harry's robes, breathing heavily. "Wee one, why don't you get off of Draco, he looks uncomfortable," She said, moving closer to the two. "No!" Draco yelled slightly, holding out his hand to stop her. "I m-mean, no, he's fine. . ." He mumbled, burying his face deeper into Harry's clothes.
The three watched as Draco wrapped his arms around the confused Harry, who's cheeks were tainted pink slightly. "Draco, are you alright? You're awfully clingy. . ." Harry asked the blonde, rubbing his hand. Draco nodded mutely, holding on tighter. Harry stood up, dragging Draco with him. "We'll be right back." He said, walking upstairs.
Draco's POV
Harry takes me upstairs to the bedroom, my face still flushed. Once the door closed, Harry turned and looked at me. Merlin, those eyes could make me do anything. "Dragon, are you alright? Did I hurt you?" He asked, I could hear his worry. "N-no, you didn't hurt me. . ." I mumble. I shifted my legs slightly. That action didn't go unnoticed, of course, nothing goes unnoticed with Harry's red eyes.
Harry stopped my shifting by placing a finger under my chin. I shudder slightly under the touch of his cold hand. "Then what's going on?" Harry made me look at his face, my breath lost when I looking into his eyes, they were like pools of blood in the lighting. "I. . ." I couldn't get the words out, I didn't want to sound weird. But at the same time, all boys my age go through this, right? Harry pulled me closer, hugging me. "You can trust me, Draco." He whispered. I melted on the spot, I loved it when his silky voice said my name.
"W-when you sat on me. . ." I start, but I couldn't finish my sentence, I didn't know why, embarrassment, maybe? I shifted my legs again, he would be grossed out, I know it. Harry chuckled, when I opened my eyes again, Harry was looking at me, his red eyes gleaming. "You don't need to be embarrassed, Dragon, you're growing up, it's bound to happen." He tells me, relief flooding through me. His words made me feel calm, so it was normal. "Maybe owl your dad, talk to him, at least you have one for stuff like this . . ." Harry's smile turned sad, the sparkle in his eyes dimming. I liked his sparkle, unlike Dumbledore's, which was cold and manipulative, Harry's was kind and joyous.
I walked back up to him and pulled him into a hug. "We'll get your dad back, I promise." I whisper to him. I felt him nod slightly, and he hugged me back, albeit tighter. "Ready to go back down?" He asked me, pulling away. I shrug a little, looking down. "Not really . . ." I mumble. I looked back up to see Harry yawning, his normally bright eyes dim and sleepy. "How much sleep did you get last night?" I ask him, worry creeping it's way into my voice.
"A few hours, maybe? I was up with Archer trying to look for a spell." He told me, his head starting to bob back and forth. I shake my head and take his hand. His skin felt like ice against my own. I take him to his bed and sit down, dragging him with me. His head fell into my shoulder, and he was asleep. I lay back onto the pillows, and his clinginess took affect. Harry wrapped an arm around my torso, and his head was on my chest, his leg tangling with mine. "Sleep, Hades, you need it." I whisper, motioning my wand to dim the lights. I hesitate for a moment, but shake my head. Kissing his head, I, too, fall asleep.
No-one's POV
Eden tapped her foot on the stone floor, looking up at the door to her common room. "Where are they?" Hermione asked, looking between Archer and the teacher. "I'm not sure, I'll go look." Archer said, standing up. Walking into the common room, Archer noticed that the bedroom door was closed, and she knew she left it opened. Opening the door slightly, Archer saw, in the dark room, Harry's bed had two people in it, asleep. Walking closer, she felt someone behind her. Glancing behind, she held a finger to her mouth, telling Hermione and Eden to be quiet. The three walked closer to Harry's bed, and they all saw Harry holding onto Draco, the two boys asleep. An aww rang out of Hermione's mouth, making Archer shush her.
The three left the room and went back into the classroom. "I wish I could stay for the rest of the lesson, I got notes, but I can't miss anymore classes." Hermione said apologetically. "That's alright Hermione, you can leave. I'm not forcing you, Draco, or even Lilith to stay." Eden said, nodding. Hermione gave a last apologetic look, then ran out of class, just as the bell rang. "Should I go wake the boys?" Archer asked, standing up. "No need, I already told the teachers what was going on, they will not loose House points." Eden said gently. Nodding, Archer sat back down, going back to doodling on her paper.
The door opened softly, but enough to see Dumbledore poking his head in, looking around. "Can I help you, Albus?" Eden asked from her desk. Archer looked up and over to the door, narrowing her eyes on the headmaster. "Ah, Eden! I was hoping you were in here," He said, opening the door more. The two noticed that Dumbledore was still looking around, looking for something. Or someone. "I got notified that Mr. Malfoy and miss Granger weren't in class today, although miss Granger has returned to her classes, Mr. Malfoy has not." The old man said, feigning concern.
"Eden has already talked to the teachers. There is no reason you should be here." Archer said, trying not to snap. "Ten points from Slytherin." Dumbledore said, his eyes sparkling. "WHAT?!" Archer yelled, standing up. Eden was by her daughter's side in a moment, also looking mad. "For talking to the headmaster like that." Dumbledore said, the twinkle in his eye getting bigger. "To hell with that bullshit!" Archer said, stepping forward. Her once blue eye was now back to red, and the pupil was back to a slit.
Dumbledore's twinkle faded at sight of the anger radiating off of the girl. "Stop trying to pry us apart!" Archer said, taking another step forward. The door to the common room opened slightly and Harry popped his head through. "First, you use the Imperius Curse on Lilith, then you say Hermione and Draco can't stay with us, not even attend class with us! What is your fucking PROBLEM WITH US?!" Archer screamed at him. Her face started turning more snake-like. Eden started to look worried, and Harry walked down to get his sister. "Archer! What's going on?" He asked.
