Nine.
❍IT had been a few days since the rude encounter Sora had with Tara, and now she was sitting opposite Dohee in the 'Sigsa Bar' with a plate of food in front of them.
"I'm really confused on how you're meeting all these people." Sora confessed and she put a chip into her mouth and shook her head slightly.
"It's called socializing, Sora," Dohee chuckled. "It's something you should really give a try."
Sora playfully rolled her eyes and laughed quietly at her best friends answer.
"Okay, but you surely have to go somewhere to find people."
"I do. I go out in the night, I have fun. I don't stay in, studying or sleeping." Dohee answered and shrugged her shoulders.
"You've become a proper rebel since turning eighteen." Sora joked and Dohee laugh, sipping from her straw after placing her burger down onto her plate.
"Sora, I really am sorry for the way Tara treated you the other day." Dohee looked at the younger girl with sincerity in her eyes, and a small smile appeared on Sora's lips.
"It's not your fault, Tara obviously just wasn't having the best of days." She shrugged it off and Dohee nodded in agreement. "And I have no idea what Sunghoon and I did for her to think there's something going on between us."
"Mm, I don't know..." Dohee slyly smirked with a perky timbre to her sweet voice. "I have you seen with Sunghoon quite a few times recently."
Sora furrowed her eyebrows and leaned forward with an intrigued expression.
"The bakery." She informed, making Sora's jaw drop slightly to explain herself, but before could, Dohee was already stating her case. "I was walking around town and I walked past the bakery and looked inside the window and there you and Sunghoon were. You both had food in front of you so it made me think it was a date." She explained with a grin that made Sora's eyes widen.
"No," Sora shook her head in a protest. "It was far from a date. I only sat there with him to see if he had seen you and to see if he was okay after that fight he had with Ej at the party."
"Okay, and what about the library?"
"You were there?"
Dohee nodded, "I was passing by when I was looking for Jungwon."
"You were looking for Jungwon?" Sora questioned and the Kim girl bobbed her head once again. "You two have gotten pretty close the last few weeks. Have you kissed yet?" Sora raised a brow in a teasing manner, quickly and easily turning the conversation onto her friend.
A gasp left Dohee as she placed a hand over her mouth, gobsmacked.
"Sora, what are you talking about?" She asked in a hushed tone. "Jungwon and I are only friends." She firmly stated and lowered her hand.
"Mm, if you say so." Sora hummed and got back to eating, leaving a flustered Dohee before her.

The sun had soon set and the two girls were walking closely together as they set foot onto the campus. Their arms were linked due to the cold whether and small talk was made as Sora told her about her thoughts on getting a job at the restaurant.
"You should definitely go for it. It'll be a good opportunity for you." Dohee stated as the came to a halt by the founding in the center of the campus.
"I'll probably go back there tomorrow as I have no lessons all day." Sora told and Dohee nodded, before her mobile began to ring.
Sora waited patiently for Dohee to be finished, and when she was, the two girls were bidding their goodbyes for the night.
Sora folded her arms across her chest to try and seek warmth as she made her way to the dorms.
"You know it's unsafe for you to be out here alone at this time of night." A soft, and mid-toned voice stated, causing Sora to come to a stop and look behind her.
She was soon faced with a tall boy that had black hair, that had been cut in the style of a wolfcut and a black sweatband was placed on his forehead. He was clad in a simple black t-shirt that had white writing of the t-shirts brand and a pair of black basketball shorts that stopped at his bare knees.
"And you know it's autumn and not the middle of summer, right?" She expressed, looking him up and down, referring to his shorts.
A laugh escaped past his full, pink lips as he gently jogged to catch up with Sora.
"Touché." He smirked and placed his hands in his pockets as they slowly began walking side by side together. "I'm Choi Beomgyu by the way." He held out his hand and Sora politely shook it.
"I'm Choi Sora."
"I know." He nodded, causing Sora to raise a brow. "You're Kim Dohee's best friend. I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of who you are — or of your name at least." He explained, earning a chuckle and a nod in response.
The two fell into a silence, making the wind and the faint noise of the fountain behind them be the only thing they could hear.
"Are you following me home?" Sora wondered and glanced over at Beomgyu, who now had an inch of a smirk appearing on his lips.
"I have to make sure a pretty girl like you gets home safe." He winked, causing Sora to scoff out a laugh and nod her head.
"Thanks, but I'm one-hundred percent sure that I can get to me dorm safely." Sora spoke, pointing to the dorm complex that was now in front of them.
Beomgyu licked his bottom lip slightly and glanced down at the floor before back up at Sora and nodded his head.
"Okay, well, it was nice meeting you Sora." The Choi boy waved and Sora was soon to return her wave as she made her way into the accommodations, a giddy smile remaining on her lips.
