"Take a break my love." Viserys requested.
"I can't. I can't quit!" Alisha corrected. "You know how many people are coming and I'm not done yet."
"It's not quitting it is relegating tasks to other people." Viserys assured.
"Losers quit when they are tired. Winners quit when they are done. " Alisha corrected.
"There is no stopping you but Ali, my love, it is my name day and I want to spend it with you, not you in the kitchen." Viserys requested taking a fork from her.
"Taste it, is it perfect?" Alisha countered and he brought it to his lips.
"That's amazing. Yes, its perfect." Viserys agreed.
"Great not I need to replicate it for... how many people?" Alisha looked up at the ceiling as she debated.

Viserys name day everyone expected salmon risotto, oysters, Foie Gras, Iberico Ham, Manuka Honey, White Truffles, Bluefin Tuna and Almas Caviar... what Alisha had for them, surprised them all.
"What do you call this?" Corlys questioned.
"A burger." Alisha declared. "Deconstructed. You pile on the toppings I do recommend the sauce I perfected it this morning," Alisha added. "And then smash it all together and voila!" Alisha giggled out. "Enjoy." She constructed Viserys burger and Laenor copied her as she piled food on.

"Where are the utensils?" Rhaenys pondered.
"You eat it with your hands." Alisha corrected.
"Really?" Rhaenys countered. Alisha nodded picking up her own burger and taking a bite. "Fascinating, at the kings name day, finger food."
"Eat it before you judge." Laenor corrected taking a bite of his own. "Fucking hell, this is good!" Laenor declared through a mouth full.
"Lord Laenor is my biggest fan." Alisha agreed.
Rhaenys and Corlys didnt understand why Rhaenyra and Laenor were having such... dark haired children. They seemed to be getting along great, even getting along with the queen, which they both knew Rhaenyra had long since hated Alicent but they were getting on great.
Alisha had been able to trick the world into thinking that she was Alicent Hightower and although she did feel bad about lying to Viserys, she figured the rest of the world really didnt need to know every detail of her life. But Viserys, she felt like he knew, but maybe he didnt. Surely if he knew he would have said something like hello imposter, who are you? But he smiled back at her as he took a bite of his name day burger.
"Delicious Ali." Viserys declared. She wiped at his lip smiling back at him. "And the sauce, perfection."
"Thank you." Alisha whispered, she took another bite as she looked around at people eating their meals, she was a chef, a baker, her job had always been to take care of others maybe that was why she said yes so easily to Alicent all those years ago. Alisha just wanted to help, she took care of her grandmother and then took care of Alicent when she wanted out, she took care of Viserys and her children but this was different then that and yet, she was always tending to others. It was in her nature.
Luke ran up to with frosting on his nose and a big smile on his face. Rhaenyra watched as Alicent picked up Luke kissing his little face. Alicent had hated children before, it didnt make sense to Rhaenyra even after Alicent had four children of her own.
"Look at you silly goose!" Alisha declared.
That was another thing Rhaenyra couldnt get over. Her love of children and the way she spoke. She used to be so worried about saying and doing the right thing, always manners and etiquette no silly gooses.
"Frosting!" Luke giggled out. "It's yummy!" he added as she wiped at his nose.
"Thank you, I'm sure your grandfather wont mind a few cutie pie noses in his name day cake." Alisha assured as she helped him down. Luke waved back at Rhaenyra before running off. Rhaenyra looked to Alisha as she wiped her hands off before taking another bite of her meal. Then she looked to Rhaenys and Corlys, whispering to themselves.
"We should be fine with it..." Rhaenys murmured.
"I am fine with it. Luke will make a fine lord of driftmark one day." Corlys agreed.
"The queen loves her grandchildren... we can too." Rhaenys went on. "I miss Laena, her girls are getting so big. Are we bad grandparents?"
"No, why would you say that?" Corlys countered.
"Alicent sees her grandchildren every day, they run to her when they need something, ours are across the narrow sea with Daemon." She hissed his name like venom on her tongue.
"Yeah, well... lets not worry about them, Laena will come home when she is ready," Corlys offered. "Have faith."
"Viserys, dance with me." Alisha requested as she got up.
"There is nothing I would love more." Viserys agreed. Rhaenyra leaned back in her chair watching them. She didnt know why she was still over thinking this, Alicent had changed, people changed and they were friends now but certain things about her previous best friend were just off.
Kaida was rocking out with Jace and Aemond while Alisha slow danced with Viserys. Aegon the little flirt was strutting around the party still while Helaena once again found a new creepy crawly in the corner. Luke ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, once he got running there was no stopping him.
The bickering around them turned to humming, the clatter of plates, sloshing of drinks, Luke running into a drum clattering a symbol to the ground made most people startle. But Viserys didnt see the chaos around them, he just saw Alisha.
