We spent hours and hours of laughing, but it was mostly Jane and James who talked, I couldn't speak properly and I wouldn't want to risk making a fool out of myself, and I shouldn't be th-
I got cut off when James faced me and said
"Seriously though, Tessa? You haven't properly talked to me ever since our little chat at the park... I'm starting to think you regret you even gave me a cha--"

I cut him off by saying "No, okay, i don't and i wont regret giving you a chance. its just, I'm really, I--"

"See? There you go again. We've only been together for less than 24 hours and its like you're showing me you don't, you don't like me at all?"

"I'm sorry okay!" I exclaimed.
"I'm sorry I cant talk straight when i'm with you, I know i used to talk normal before we talked at the park, but I have this thing when i'm around guys like you and I tend to go all-"

I got interrupted. Why the hell do people keep interrupting me?!

"Guys like me? So i'm just one of your "guys"? is that it?"

"No, its not like that." I said this and I didn't notice that I was crying already.

"Then what? Wait. Why are you crying?" He asked.

"She's not good with guys, alright? She doesn't talk to guys, well she does, its normally for school, or to her dad, her guy cousins, none more. And the first and last guy that isn't related to her left her. So would you please stop complaining about how she is with you? And i'm sorry by the way if I butt in your talk." Jane explained. Thank God for her.

"It-Its true. I was shocked you even talked to me in the first place, I-I had no idea how I put up with how I was a while ago, I guess, before you told me you how you felt, I didn't have anything to worry about. But when you did, I just-"

"You truly are one of a kind. God am I thankful I found someone like you." James said, smiling.

"Alrighty, uh i'll just finish something upstairs and yeah." Jane said, winking and smiling at me.

"You sure you still have feelings for me? Not, t-turned off or something that the girl you like is dumb that she cant even speak straight?" I said.

"Shut up. You're not dumb and I get it, you're with me, someone new, and all this is just probably new to you, but we'll work on that. Together. But can I ask you a favor?" He said.

"Yeah?"

"Can you tell me what happened to the 'first and last guy' you ever talked to? ... That's not related to you?"
