Knocking on my door. There's someone knocking on my door? I checked my phone for the time; 3:28am.

Who the hell continuously knocks that loud at 3am?!

"WHAT?!" I shouted, opening the door, not my eyes.

"Tess, can we talk please?" James?! My eyes are now open, and now I am wide awake.

"The hell are you doing here?! How long have you been knocking on my door?! I was sleeping, you know!" I shouted.

"Sorry I woke you, I brought you your favorite pancakes with strawberry syrup and I got you some cheesesteak for later, too." James handed me 2 paper bags and said, "Can I come in?"

"Yeah? Okay go ahead, sit anywhere, I'll just wash up." I said, heading to my bathroom.

When I got back, James was holding my favorite cake on his right hand, and balloons on his left. And that wasn't all, he was biting an illustration board with a big "SORRY" that's handwritten & it also included "I love you, -James".

"How did you even move so fast?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I love you, Tess"

James was handing me the illustration board he was biting, and at the back of the side that says "SORRY" was a side full of stolen pictures of him and me.

"James..."

"I love you, Tess" James repeated.

"I- I, James," I started crying.

James placed the cake on my desk, then he tied the balloons to my chair and hugged me.

"I- I love you, James." I said while sobbing.

"I love you, Tess, Do you forgive me? I love you and I miss you, stop crying, please?"

I was nodding at his chest, and I hugged him even tighter.

We stayed like this for a while, and I was finally done crying.

"Feel better?" James smiled.

"Better than ever. I missed you."

"Two and a half weeks felt like years to me, I'm sorry all we ever did was fight, and I'm sorry I even started with the time off thing and giving us space. I realized all I need is you."

"I would say something cheezier and sweeter than that, but my brain's still sleeping right now." I joked.

James hugged me again.

"One question though." I said.

"Go ahead."

"Why at 3am, today though? I mean I think I left you yesterday at like 9pm? And how were you back with so much things when-"

"You said one question, but since I love you so much, 3am, today because I cant wait any longer. Both of us are impatient, right? Patience never was, and never will be a virtue of ours. " James laughed.

"Huh. I guess your right." I said, agreeing to his answer.

"So, would you like to sleep now? I'd have to get going if you'd just like me to come tomorrow morning." James offered.

"Stay."

"'Till you sleep? Okay, I'll be glad to do so."

"No, stay and sleep with me, right here, right now. And I wont take no for an answer."

"2 and a half weeks of not being with you and you're this bossy now? I'm loving you even more." James kissed my forehead.

The next morning, James was nowhere to be found. We both slept in my bed (and no, none of what you're thinking happened).

I was used to waking up alone, but I was not used to smelling food in the morning.

"Good morning, beautiful, hope I didn't wake you, I tried cooking but here," James entered the room holding a tray of food.

"Good morning to you too, I love you, thank you for breakfast." I hugged him.

We talked and ate breakfast at the same time, then we finished our food and headed downstairs.

"So how are you and Chase now?" James randomly asked.

I almost choked, "W-were uh good I guess?" I said nervously.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" James said.

"No, I think were past that and I wouldn't want to spoil a lovely morning."

"Yeah well you're gonna have to talk about him now, cause he dropped this off around 6am." Tracy entered the room holding a Starbucks paper bag.

"Trace? What are you doing here and why were you up that early and-"

"Here we go again with the non-stop questions," Tracy interrupted me, and I blushed of embarrassment.

"Sorry."

"Yeah, Well he dropped these off saying he texted you and he just wanted you to remember him for what's inside, but that's all he said though." Tracy said.

"Can you please get my phone?" I asked James, and once he exited the kitchen, "Trace, what do I do? I kissed Chase when I haven't kissed James yet! Now Chase is doing this and oh my I hope James-"

"Why did you kiss Chase and not James and why haven't you told me this yet?" Tracy said in a soft tone.

"Well I-"

James walked in the room, giving me my phone.

"Thank you" I told James.

On my lockscreen, it says 3 Messages from Chase and 1 Missed call. And others from Tracy.

Hey T, good morning

I dropped off something earlier, I guess you're still sleeping.

Hope you enjoy what I gave. I'll see you in a month, but I'll keep in touch, I'm not leaving again, just vacation.
