1x08: I, Eye Guy

Kieran had been very slowly now getting better at managing his extra sensitive hearing over the last three weeks and now, he was usually able to go without his headphones for an hour at least. His gym bag was over his shoulder as he walked along with Jason, going towards Billy.

"Hey, so what is the whole deal with you and Erica?" Kieran turned around to look at Jason, who caught up to him as they were walking to Billy's house in a hurry.

"I have no idea what the hell you're talking about, Jason." Kieran replied and Jason lifted his eyebrows at him and Kieran sighed. "You're crazy, all right? There is nothing going on with Erica and I." Kieran spoke up after a moment of thought.

"I invited her today, to the science fair. Liliana refuses to go anywhere without her, so, I just figured that they could come with us." Jason explained and all the while, Kieran listened carefully to his brother's heartbeat and he raised his eyebrows.

"All right Jason, which one do you like?" Kieran asked and Jason spewed his water everywhere coughing at the words and sputtering water, as Kieran glanced at him. "And don't try to lie to me, Jason, my ears will pick it up." He said smoothly.

"All right, fine. You got all that from my heartbeat?" Jason questioned and Kieran, he nodded quickly. "Jesus, a good note to self. Kieran can hear my heartbeat." Jason muttered.

"Which one do you really like Jason. I can tell that you do, so I will leave you to it." Kieran said and Jason glanced at his little brother, who was nodding at the words. "Never mind, it's Liliana isn't it?" He asked and Jason scoffed at his knowledge.

"Did my heartbeat reveal that to you too?" Jason asked as Kieran looked at him.

"I'm still your brother, Jase, I don't need my hearing and my new sense of smell to know everything. I'm still your brother." Kieran pointed out as he quickly gently nudged Jason in the shoulder as then now, they were both walking into Billy's garage where they had all been called to meet up.

"Hey Billy, what's the situation with the machine?" Kieran asked as he was walkin' into the garage quietly behind Jason, who managed to take up most of the doorway on his own.

"This is Willy's project that he is entering into the junior science fair today. Willy, you remember Jason's brother Kieran?" Billy asked and the younger kid nodded quickly as Kieran glanced at the machine. "All right everyone, put on your goggles for now." Billy said and Kieran kept his headphones on, as there was a lot of new construction happening outside and his ears were being overloaded.

Kieran put his goggles on and he was yelling along with the others in some clear excitement and the rollercoaster was feeling so damn real, as he was laughing along with Jason, Billy and Zack, while Kimberly was yelling at the top of her lungs now, about how she was going to be sick.

Willy shut off the game and Billy had been given care of the machine, as he was carrying it and then Putties had shown up.

"Circle formation!" Jason called out loudly at the sight of them as Kieran dropped his back and moved into his spot between Zack and Jason quickly.

It took two tries and the Putties disappeared after their final blows and Kieran sighed, quickly at the moment just picking up his big gym bag again.

Kieran followed Jason, Zack and Billy when they were going after the really upset Willy, whose invention had just been completely, unfairly disqualified from the junior science fair.

Their communicatiors went off and they teleported directly now into the Command Center as now luckily, they were all standing as then, Kieran was now looking at the viewing globe.

"Poor kid." Kieran murmured very quietly, before Jason nudged him and they were morphing quickly.

"Mastodon!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Sabertooth Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

"Direwolf!"

All six of them morphed quickly and they'd lunge real quickly for EyeGuy with all their weapons and eventually, they brought them together quickly.

"Power Axe!"

"Power Bow!"

"Power Daggers!"

"Power Lance!"

"Power Sword!"

Kieran sent out two blasts of energy from the ends of his escrima sticks as they were victorious for only a moment, before EyeGuy was putting himself back together.

"Go with Billy!" Jason ordered and Kieran looked at him, before he was nodding and he raced off after Billy at a quick speed.

Kieran lunged after him and he helped Billy with his escrima sticks and Billy was stabbing at the main eye with his lance. After Willy had been freed, Billy and Kieran joined the others with their zords.

Kieran leapt up into the massive bronze direwolf that came out of the forest along with the sabertooth tiger zord and he drove along with them.

"Zack here. All systems go."

"Billy here. Let's finish him."

"Trini here. Ready for action!"

"Let's get this bug-eyed freak."

"Let's just get this over with and set Willy free." Kieran said as he swiftly drove his direwolf and he was now definitely noticing that the new sort of helmet designs from the intelligent duo of Zordon and Alpha were now definitely working.

Their zords swiftly together as one, they moved into Megazord cannons formation and they were blasting at Eye Guy. "Switching to megazord battle mode!" Jason called out and the Megazord was standing up as, they all were sitting in the cockpit.

After summoning the Mega Power Sword, they defeated Eye Guy and then, they were going back to the science fair.

"Hey, where were you guys?" Erica asked and Liliana was watching the duo of Ernie and the teacher, who were using Willy's machine and she was laughing at the sight. "Liliana, hey, get your head out of your butt."

Liliana shook her head and she quietly stuck next to her sister and Kieran had his headphones back on.

"I'm headed to the gym for my rope-climbing day, but all of you guys and girls, have some fun." Kieran said as he subtly nudged Jason in the ribs and at the nudge, Jason kicked him in the ankle and Kieran walked quickly out of the room.

"You're the king of subtlety, did you know that?" Erica asked as she caught up to him and Kieran sighed, glancing at her with a shake of his head.

"Yeah, that wasn't really intended to be so subtle." Kieran explained as she nodded. "Did you try out Willy's machine too?" He asked.

"Yeah, that is all kinds of completely crazy that an eleven year old kid could make something like that." Erica said and Kieran held open the door to the Angel Grove Youth Center and Erica's shrug was clear and she was walking through the door. Kieran followed her quickly. "You need a timer?" She asked and he shrugged.

"Unless you want to race up the ropes." Kieran said with a grin and Erica was shaking her head quickly at the words.

"I will leave that activity to you and your brother, thank you very much, I will be just fine with timing you." She said and she reached quickly into his bag, bringing out the stopwatch from his bag as then real quickly, she hung it around her neck.
