When six kids with some clear attitudes are transported to a mysterious place after an earthquake shook their world, they discover that they have been chosen by a mysterious being and his robot sidekick to help defend their world.
But when they must work with new people outside of their core group of six, who have known each other for years, they all have different ways of judging good candidates.
At the end of it all, they soon begin to think that they will never find a suitable candidate for their two Rangers.
That is, until their mentor reveals to them that the two new members of the team have just been right in front of them all along and that all they had to do was look down a bit.
