Chapter 41

The same day, 1:59 pm

In the bunker

Ella's POV

It's so fun to follow Sam around. Especially when it's because I wanna know information that's absolutely none of my business. I want him to tell me about his girlfriend, like he said he would, but he keeps changing the subject.

Ella: Would it kill you to slow down? I'm on crutches.

He walks unnecessarily fast. I don't know if it's because his legs are long and he can't control how fast he walks because he has long legs. Or if it's because he's trying to get me to stop following him.

Sam: I have things to do.

Ella: You said you'd tell me about your girlfriend. Did you lie to me?

Sam: No. I didn't lie to you. I just forgot that I had other things to do. I'm sorry, Kid. You're gonna have to wait a little while longer.

Ella: But that's like, a form of lying. You said you'd tell me, and now you're not telling me. You lied to me.

Sam: Ella, I'm not in the mood to argue with you. Go find something else to do, and I'll tell you whatever you wanna know, later. After I've finished everything that I need to do.

Ella: What am I supposed to do until you're not busy anymore?

Sam: I don't think Dean's doing anything important. You could go hang out with him. Or you could do your chores, like we've both asked you to do, a million times today.

Ella: Dean's in the shower. And I can do my chores later. You know, like you're gonna tell me about your girlfriend later.

Sam: Ella Mae-

Ella: See? It's not fun when people put things off until later, when you're the one that has to wait. Is it?

Sam: I will pay you money to go do literally anything else.

I was gonna spend as much time as possible trying to piss him off, but now there's money involved.

Ella: How much?

Sam: I don't know. What's something that you wanna do, that costs money?

Ella: I wanna dye my hair.

I'm gonna use him being annoyed with me, to get what I want. He's very easy to manipulate. I love that about him.

Sam: Dean's gonna kill me. How much does that cost?

Ella: I don't know. Like $100. That's how much it costs for Ryan's Mom to get hers dyed.

Sam: Fine.

He takes out his wallet and hands me a 100 dollar bill.

Sam: Now please, go find something else to do, while I go do what I need to get done. I will talk to you later. Ok?

I didn't piss him off, but I'm definitely annoying him. He's talking to me in the tone that people use when they're not MAD, but they're mad. You know? Like annoyed/mad.
