Driving next to Wally wasn't anything new. It was the idea of moving in for a while that felt weird.

You currently sat in the passenger seat, a few clothes and personal items in a bag while your moms rested in the backseat. All of her medical stuff would be transferred over to Wally's house, his request, but for now her clothes and items sat nicely next to her sleeping form.

"I'm really glad you're doing all of this for me and my mom, Mr.Darling." You say with an awkward smile as he laughs a bit.

"Just Wally... we are off work right now." He said, leaning back in his seat a bit with a smile.

You felt the wind go through the car in a whoosh as he rolled down his window a bit making you laugh. You looked around at the scenery as he drove, a nice Saturday morning was just what you needed from a hectic week.

The song "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" started to play through his car radio and just before he could turn the dial you stopped his hand.

"Wait!" You say as the main chores started. He held his hand back with a small chuckle, letting the music play as you turned it up a bit.

"Aint no mountain high, ain't no Vally low."

Wally hummed a bit to the lyrics as you both swayed a bit, enjoying the music and company.

"If you need me call me, no matter where you are. No matter how far." You mumbled with the song, bobbing a bit as you looked out the window.

He laughed and joined in on the quiet singing of the song, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat.

By the time the main chores struck, both of you looked over to each other and belted out the lyrics while laughing. You holding up an imaginary microphone, switching between you and him as the parts changed while he threw his head back and laughed loudly.

The road was in the middle of no where with large trees shading the path so you both didn't need to worry to much about hitting something as you sang.

He leaned forwards and turned the music louder, enjoying the feeling as he watched you sing. His laugher and smile not once leaving as you continued the song, confidence radiating off of you. "Fun." He thought.

Just as the song ended the two of you continued your laugher. You leaned slightly on his arm, patting his hand at each laugh only causing him to laugh more as he leaned his head on yours slightly.

You're laughter slowly died down as his gate pulled into view, the car coming to a pause as the gate slowly opened up.

Wally took the time to turn in his seat slightly, looking in the back seat with a small smile.

"I apologize, Ms.(L/N) if me and your daughter were a bit loud." He said causing you to quickly turn to look at your mom who was now awake.

Wally laughed and pulled into the driveway as you turned embarrassed.

"No no! I'm happy to see her so happy. I haven't seen her smile this much in years..." Your mom said with a bright smile, the wrinkles under her eyes crinkling more.
