Wally and you pulled up to work feeling refreshed and ready for the day. He finally got to meet the owners of the coffee shop and order something new he thought he'd might like.

It was weird being beside him so early and drinking coffee together, but it felt good to talk and have someone to open up to.

Pulling up to work a little late was the part that wasn't very fun though.

"Wally." A voice called out as the both of you walked in laugh. There stood Mr.Dorelaine with his arms crossed glaring at you then to Wally.

Wally quickly straightened his back, giving the two of you notable space from before. He seemed ridged under the older man's gaze, a complete 360 from his usual calm and confident manner.

"In my office, now." The man said before walking off to an area you'd never really been. It was a simple hallway attached to the entire studio but it was either always empty or used for storage. Now that the "big boss" was here, it was cleaned up and looked organized.

Wally glanced over at you for a moment before walking behind Mr.Dorelaine leaving you alone.

You couldn't help but feel anxiety rush over you at the sudden atmosphere change. The usual busy recording studio now deadly quiet as people whispered and ran around, almost afraid to talk.

"Barneby!" You called out hushed, he was sitting with a few cast members: Poppy, Eddie, Julie, and Frank. Sally seemed to be off talking with a staff member but she noticed you and looked away.

All of them froze for a second and looked over at you with a nervous glance. As you walked up to the group, Eddie and Frank stood up quickly and walked away to their shared dressing room; their assistants not to far behind.

Julie whispered something to Frank before running off past you with a strained smile.

"Hey wait- Julie are you ok?..." you asked. Julie simply looked over their shoulder with a sad look before running off to her dressing room.

You turned your attention back to Barneby and Poppy who sat quietly, shooting glances at each other.

"Ok what's going on. Why is everyone acting weird?" You say concerned.

Barneby made eye contact before looking away with a nervous gulp. You instead turned your gaze to Poppy who sat sadly with a smile on her face; at least she held your questioned gaze unlike the others.

"What's going on..." you say more concerned.

"This is unacceptable, Mr.Darling. You've been missing extra acting lesions, you ran off in the middle of recording to do god knows what, rescheduling meet and greets almost every week, and now you're showing up late?!"

Mr.Dorelaine slammed the papers on his desk with a loud bang making Wally flinch slightly. He couldn't come up with a good enough excuse for his actions. Had he really been missing all of that? He didn't even notice... he was too busy with... oh.

"I apologize sir." He said with the little amount of confidence he could muster under the mans cold gaze. He rubs his head angrily looking at Wally, his fists balling up.

"I found you when you were a nobody. You were on the streets and preforming at bars for scraps. I made you a star and this is what I get?" Mr.Dorelaine walked around his desk to tower over Wally sitting down, his eyes wide with anger.

Wally only sighed, not wanting his words to add more heat to the fire. Mr.Dorelaine seemed unimpressed with his quietness and scoffed lightly, walking back to his desk to look through Wally's papers before stopping.
