Monday October 13, 1968.

Honestly you didn't really know why Wally was suddenly so eager to spend time with you. Of course he'd always been open to hang out outside of work but never did he seem so admit about going somewhere with you.

Walking along the rather expensive shopping mall, you couldn't help but feel weird. Wally walked beside you with sunglasses on and a nice shirt; a much thicker one now that autumn was rolling in.

The studio ended up losing power so recording couldn't happen; something Wally was very excited about.

"How about in here?" Wally said, pointing at some kind of music shop.

"If I got Joseph anything noise making related Elizabeth would put my head on a stick." You laugh. The last time your mom bought him a simple toy drum set for his 5th birthday, no one in the house got any sleep.

Wally shrugged and continued to walk by your side with a big smile. You couldn't help but feel like his aura was off in a way. Normally he'd be much more calm and almost peaceful when you both hung out, but now he seemed overly excited like he wanted to be as close as possible.

"Oh we have to go in there! Come on!" Wally grabbed you hand and immediately pulled you into a large toy store.

The smell of fabrics and other plastic toys filled your senses as you looked around; Wally's hand still tight in yours.

"Hey they have Welcome Home toys!" You gush slightly, picking up a Wally plush and holding it up to his face.

Wally laughed at your excitement as he picked up a Barnaby one. Compare to the actors, each plush was colored differently some even being the animals they dressed as rather than their actors.

Wally sighed a bit and grabbed a few. "Let's get him some" he said putting them in a basket he grabbed on the way in.

Taking a look at the price tag you about stopped breathing. It wasn't a god awful lot for one, but Wally had grabbed the whole cast making you swallow.

"Um... maybe we should just get one. These cost a bit more than my budget right now..." you say trying to place some plushies back only for Wally to smack your hand away with a gasp.

"Uh uh! Im paying and we are getting your nephew the whole cast. My treat. Now, let's go find some more things for your sister and mom!" He said grabbing a few more toys and walking up to the cashier before you could protest.

You could feel something was off, he seemed like he was forcing his smile more than normal. It felt like he was acting and you almost wondered if he actually was and why for?

"How about we go get a gift for your sister next? What does she like?" He asked snapping you out of your thoughts abruptly.

"Oh, we'll she's gotten into baking recently from what I've heard but I'm not to sure about getting her something-"

"Baking supplies it is! Let's go!" He said taking your hand before you could say anything else and walking into a store that had baking supplies and appliances.

"Wally I really don't know about this. I understand you want to be nice and all but you shouldn't go around spending all your money on my family, you've done enough as is!"

Your complaints feel to deaf ears as he got a box filled with a brand new mixer. He wasted no time pulling out his card and paying making you slightly huff with a smile; he wasn't going to listen or care.

"Now something for your mom. How about jewelry? Something real nice for her!"

"Ok no!" You say, laughing a bit at his enthusiasm. "I draw the line at you buying jewelry! That's way to much."
