Crowds
They intimidate
They clap even if you are lousy
They just make the tension worse
A sea of eyes fixed on you
Words
They worry
They taunt and tease
You can't make it, they say
They make you want to whimper
Chosen just for you
Places
They're unfamiliar
You may know them or may not
You will be late, they murmur
They make you panicky and scared
A labyrinth built to trap you
