I am not the scars on my waists that serve as a reminder of my pain.
I am not the words I wrote when I couldn't feel anything but loss.
I am not the boy I cannot talk to because his mom thinks I'm controlling when really, she's taking away all his chances to be different.
I am not the tears I shed at 2 in the morning when there is nobody but me and darkness and the demons inside of me.
I am the stars that shine in the sky that make me want to dance under the bright moon.
I am the sparkle in my eye when I am with my friends and the gasps of air when I cannot breathe because I'm laughing too hard.
I am the brightness of the sky when the sun isn't concealed by the clouds and the sky is that blue color that I love the most.
But most of all, I am not a temporary pencil mark to be erased when the bigger picture is revealed.
In my story and the story of those whose lives I've changed, I. Am. Infinite.
