They're horrendous
Obnoxious and annoying
So how can I want to fit in
They scream that I'm different
I love that I'm not a copy
Who wants to fail school
Or doesn't want to feel smart
I can do what I want
If they're not nice
Who cares what they say
Not me
Fall not into the trap of fitting in
Let it not ensnare you in its envy
Fall not onto the knife
End not your individuality
For it is a gift not a curse
To let your own light burn
For they shine each other out
But shine in silver and in gold
