7 Months later ...
Standing next to Cassie, we greeted the Guests while handing everyone a balloon representing the gender they think the baby will be.
The last few months were chaotic, to say the least.
I had a pregnant lady yelling at me most of the time and a fiance sneaking out with the baby momma to go relax at a different spa each fucking day because I keep 'finding them too fast'.
"Where is she?" Sofia asked almost running me over.
Her family has been around a lot lately since her brother apologized she's allowed them to be a part of her doctor appointments and decision-making.
"She's still with him but she'll be joining us soon" Cassie spoke, chuckling at the shirt imprinted with the words 'Soon to be grandma' Sofia was wearing.
The front was pink but as she turned around I noticed it was blue at the back.

When everyone was gathered in the backyard I looked at the time and decided to go get Iris.
She's been with Carter each second she could but I know each day he doesn't wake up lessens her hope that he'll ever wake up at all.

"Is everyone already here?" she asked holding my hand while I help her down the stairs.
"Yes, I don't want any business talk today it can wait till tomorrow" I started knowing she hasn't been relaxing like the doctor said she has to.
Iris doesn't know it yet but she'll be finding out the gender of two babies today.
"I just need to talk to.." cutting her off I held up my hand not wanting to hear any of it.
