After Iris fell asleep I placed her on the couch so she would sleep better.

Just when I wrapped the blanket around her Michael came in yelling at someone on the phone.

When he saw her sleeping he motioned for me to follow him outside.

When we got in the hall he ended the call while pulling at his hair.

"We've got a big problem" he spat out.

Waiting for him to continue we walked into his office that was down the hall and sat down.

"That mother fucker sent a present and almost blew up the whole house" he grits out slamming his hands on the desk.

"Sent Hunter to track him down, I want him found-" a knock at the door interrupted me while one of the guards came in holding an envelope.

While I carefully opened it, I took out the paper inside.

'You'll burn in the fire I created'

Waking up I looked around not seeing Carter anywhere.

Looking outside the window I gazed at the stars feeling calm. I wondered how it would feel to be that high, I mean everyone sees the stars and for some, it's sometimes the last thing they see.

Feeling hungry I tried sitting patiently while waiting for Carter to come back but it felt like hours have gone by and he was still not back.

So I decided to go look for him instead.

The halls were empty and dark but I carried on walking straight. Wondering around the halls I walked into something really hard.

Before I could fall strong arms wrapped around my waist keeping me up.

Looking at whoever caught me, I quickly got out of his hold.

His black hair fell over his eyes which almost made me laugh but when he removed it my heart stopped.

His piercing blue eyes kept me in place without saying a word.
