I'm in hell.
Not literally but it felt like it.
Watching Ashley holding her nose while it bled gave me a little more time to get out of these dumb ropes.
Biting my tongue I did the one thing I knew would help and dislocated my thumb giving me enough room to wiggle my hands out.
The pain shot through my whole body but if it brought me one step closer to getting out of there it was worth it.
I don't know how long it's been since I've been here but I know thanks to Ashley that everyone thinks I'm dead.
She told me how I ended up in this place the second I woke up.
*Flashback*
Feeling a burning sensation on my hand I jumped up or at least tried to.
My vision was blurry when I tried to look around me but a familiar laugh caught my attention.
"You should've stayed away from Carter Iris!" she yelled pushing the hot metal into my hand.
I was confused and in pain not knowing how I ended up here.
The last thing I remember was jumping into the river and being pushed down by the strong current.
When my vision got clearer I took in the wooden walls filled with spider webs and mold. The floor had gaps here and there and the roof was made of rusty metal.
The place smelled like burned toast.
"Wh...what do you want?" I breathed out feeling my throat burn with each word.
"It's easy Iris, I want Carter and I had him but then you came along and destroyed everything!" her voice grew louder with each passing moment, and I felt my energy draining.
"The best part about my plan is that you're stuck here for me to use as a stress reliever till I get Carter back" she chuckled walking around the room.
"He'll find me" I hoped he would.
"No one will Iris because you're dead, the doctors were hard to turn against Carter thought but he really killed them all after they told him you didn't make it".
"That reminds me your funeral is in five days would you like to pay them a little visit"confusion must have been written all over my face because Ashley just kept on filling in the blanks one by one.
It seemed like she really wanted someone to hear her 'perfect little plan'.
"After Carter kicked me out I did a little research and I had a lot of practice on the girls Damon sold me and it wasn't quite hard to perfect plastic surgery" she was working with him.
*Present*
Watching my blood running down my leg almost made me faint, I can't keep doing this.
I can't keep living at the bottom of the food chain so it all ends today.
I'm not some damsel in distress who needs a prince to save me on his white horse.
So I simply sat back and waited for the perfect chance to end this.
Looking at the girl sitting next to me I gave her a small smile hoping she'd calm down a little.
I'd get us both out of here.
"You little bitch! You'll pay for that" Ashley yelled picking up her favorite toy.
A taser.
She has used it a lot on me but not before soaking me in water.
Each time the water lands on me it's like I'm back in that river fighting for air, hoping I'd be able to hold on long enough.
Grabbing the bucket she came close enough for me to reach her so I took the chance.
Jumping off the chair I took Ashley to the ground with me.
I hadn't thought this through enough to know what I should do next so I made a rash decision to hit her with the bucket laying a few feet away from us.
Trying to get up my body yelled at me to stop moving from all the pain that I was causing to my injuries but I kept on trying.
Grabbing the handle I was ready to turn around but Ashley grabbed my ankle while dragging me back to the chair.
"You made a big fucking mistake Iris, you could've taken your punishment like a good girl today and yet you chose to make everything worse" she kept rambling on so I took a swing.
I had to hit her four times before she'd pass out which I'm not gonna lie made me feel really bad.
"I did it!" I yelled laughing at my victory.
Taking deep breaths I got back up and helped the girl named Sara out of the chair.
She was nice she placed her hand around my waist helping me walk.
"Do you know where we are?" I hoped she did because I was lost.
"Yes she didn't blindfold me on our way here so I could get us out, just hang in there you've lost a lot of blood".
It was all worth it.
Walking me into a room that seemed like a kitchen Sara looked through the drawers.
Not having the energy to ask her what she was looking for I leaned against the countertop hoping she'd be quick.
I can't do another round of fighting with Ashley and if she wakes up I'm going to have to.
"Got it!" Sara cheered grabbing my attention.
Jumping up and down with car keys in hand I laughed at Sara's reaction, is that how I looked when I took down Ashley?
