Aidens POV

|1| What? What was the only thing I thought? I guess you could say I was still in denial about what just happened. I didn't know what to feel. Was I supposed to feel sad, or angry? I wasn't in control right now, it was Arien and he was talking with the Alpha. Elio came into the room but left when he saw we were in the room.

|2| Ren was quiet. Well, he's always quiet but this time... it was different. Like he's just numb which is a side effect of impure mating. We got similar ones I guess. But I just felt confused. About what? I don't know.

|3| Soon we were done in the Alpha's office then I walked Ren to his room then said my goodbyes. I walked back to my room then saw the last person I wanted to see. Little ol' Darrin. He was on his phone, seemingly annoyed. Seeing him so unphased finally sparked something in my which made me decide what to feel.

|5| The anger didn't overrule my pettiness though. I sat beside him and hugged him. The little bitch put down his phone and kissed my forehead. "How was your day with Ren?" He asked. "It was fun, showed him the burial grounds, the garden, the beach, and ancestral grounds," I said with a large smile.

|6| "How was fucking Elio? Hm?" I asked innocently which caught him off guard. "What do you mean?" He asked as he looked me in my eyes. "Our mate bond wasn't developed yesterday, Darrin." I sang. "Babe I-" –Don't even! I'm sorry I'm your mate. You're right! You deserve someone better because apparently, I'm not enough!"

|7| "Apparently the fact I love, care, and help you isn't enough!" I yelled at him. "Daring, you're being dramatic!" He yelled back. "Oh, I'm being fucking dramatic?! I'm fucking sorry! I've gone through so much so I could love you. I could've been disowned by my own family because I'm a medic with a mate!"

|8| "Even though you cheated on me early on in our relationship I thought you'd get better and finally love me but stupid old fucking me!" I cursed out. If Darrin wasn't holding me down he'd be dead. "Calm down, baby..." he tried soothing me but it only made it worse.

|9| "I'll calm the fuck down when you keep your dick to one person. Here's a suggestion! Your mate, who has put up with your bullshit for the past year!" Darrin pulled me closer and started kissing me all over, trying to shut me up. Would it work? Here's a hint!: NO.

|10| I tried to fight back but Darrin was the one with muscles so he was overpowering me. He started kissing me on my neck in the exact spot where my mark would be. He was trying to get me hot and bothered so I would forget about everything. I tried to resist but couldn't hold back my moans.

|11| "You seem stressed baby, let me help you." He cooed as his hand snaked up my shirt. He was not going to get laid 2 times in one day by 2 different people. I waited until he was fully relaxed when I kicked him in the groin. The words that came out of his mouth were in Spanish but I knew they were vulgar.

|12| "This is why I preferred Elio..." I heard him say under his breath as he held his groin. "Oh! I'm sorry! Do you think Elio would've accepted that you cheated on him after a year of being together?! You stupid idiot! Say shit like that and you are going to wish I was Elio!"

|13| Darrin rolled his eyes. "Attitude, Attitude, Attitude! That's all you are! This is why Elio is just overall better than you!" He yelled. I was taken aback. "I get it, you're a beta. I was fine with that until I found out about your assertive behavior! You could have been sweet, nice, beta but no!"

|14| I kissed my teeth. Bullshit. "What? Are you sad I'm not a submissive little angel that loves to be dominated by a big hunky Alpha?! I'm sorry then! I'm used to being independent but changed when I met you so you wouldn't think I'm neglecting you! So I still have some independent beta nature!"
