Darrin's POV

|1| The whole day Aiden was right by my side. His calmness pheromones were strong but it seemed I was the only one who really noticed.

|2| I checked in with Elio today and he told me he was proud of me. Lycus finally got what he wanted too.

|3| Right now, I was in the healers office as Aiden was trying to help his swollen mark. "I mean yeah. I have this because we took too long to mark eachother. When it fully swelled it would be irreversible and I'd be unable to love soooo..." He dragged out the o. "Atleast we mated, okay?" I sighed out, feeling kind of annoyed at his lecture.

|4|He was mixing and crushing herbs into a paste which he spread on the swelling.

|5| "Mhmm... Our parents are meeting today, right? Well... our dads." Aiden asked as he hissed at the sensation, eyes blinkered through blue and green. "Yeah, my dad is gonna be a pain... My mom planned on coming but he was being weird and his moodswings weren't getting better." I explained. Aiden silently muttered "like father, like son" under his breath.

|6| "You know I heard you right." He hissed. "Oh no, I know." Aiden sassed. "Which brings me to my next point, uhm." He looked down, submissiveness showing in his eyes. It weirded me out. It was the first time I ever saw Aiden submit to anyone other than Elders, people of importance from other packs, or Ren.

|7| What is he so worried about that he thinks he needs to submit to me?

|8| He took a deep breath in. "I would... Appreciate... if we both... booked an appointment with Cartiel." An eyebrow rose. "The mates therapist?" I thought he mixed up his names again. "Yes." That was surprising.

|9| "Why." I asked, my tone coming out more harsher. A breathy sigh exited Aiden. Why was he acting like this? Is it because we are marked now? I could tell he was getting frustrated with himself.

|10| "You don't regulate your anger well. You always take it out on me whether it's mentally, sexually, or physically. I love you Darrin, but you are going through a lot which I wish j was qualified in but I'm not. I'm not saying you are insane or abusive. Just... Let's go okay? I'm going to because I'm extremely flawed and there are thing I have to change so please don't be mad I don't want to clean up blood today."

|11| I blinked at the beta who's head was down in submission. I wasn't even mad. "Okay." I said. Aidens head slowly rose. ",What?...." He asked. "I'll go. It could be a good place. I have less work in the next few weeks so we could just book something." I sighed.

|12| I stood up at pushed his head up. "And stop submitting. It's not like you." I muttered. Aiden looked at me like I was the mood goddess herself. He nodded then continued doing what he was.

|13| "I'm sorry." I muttered after a while which got Aidens attention. "I didn't realize I was taking out my anger on you– no, I noticed. I just... didn't care? Sometimes there's a side to me I can't even control." He grumbled. Aiden gave me a sympathetic little smile.

|14| "It's okay–"that i was abusing you? Never." I cut aiden off. He excuses this behavior too often. Most of the urges are from Aiden letting me run him over. That's what kept me aggressive. "Listen. Anytime I so anything like that again, hit me. I don't care how weak you are. Hit me before I can hit you." I ordered. Aiden nodded, good.

|15| I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek. Zayn was making himself clear as I continued. Aiden felt calmer in our embrace.

Elio's POV

|17| The spring breeze was so nice. It was almost summer so soon I could bring Ren swimming! It's been... 5 months since we met? Time really flies.

|18| Me and Ren were just on a usual run. One thing I noticed about Ren is that he's fast... like really fast. He was fast for an omega and we are fast. He's ears also twitch a lot more.

|19| Why is he so on guard? I barked for him to slow down which he did. Maybe its because he's broken? Speaking of that, me, lycuss, and mama are meeting with Felix to discuss the treaties. I don't know if I'm gonna bring Ren with me but probably not.

|20| While I was focusing on something else, Ren yawned and laid down under a tree. My head tilted in confusion. I slipped towards him and laid down beside him, nuzzling my snout into his fur.
