Chapter 1

Min Ha slowly opened her eyes. She looked around and noticed that everything in that room is white. Is this heaven? Nah, she was sure if she died she probably going to hell. No way someone like her would go to heaven so where was this place?

"Min Ha." Min Ha saw an elderly woman enter her bedroom and smiled at her. "You need to get ready now, or else you will be late for school." Min Ha was confused. Who is this woman? "Who are you, ma'am? I don't think I know you." Now, the woman looks confused. "Min Ha, do you hit your head somewhere that you can't remember your own mother?" Min Ha looked at her supposed-to-be 'mother'. She's not her mother. Not her 'real' mother. They didn't resemble each other. She freaked out a bit. Why suddenly this woman claimed that she was her mother? "You better get ready now or you'll be late to school." Her 'mother' walked out of the room, leaving her 'daughter' confused as hell. Where the hell is she right now?

If you ask Min Ha where she is right now, she is in front of Sungjin High School. It's sound so familiar but she couldn't recall where she had heard that name. She walked through the entrance and she was completely clueless about where she was supposed to be. Then, she found someone familiar. Someone she could only see through her TV or phone screen.

It's Moon Sang-Min.

Min Ha was shocked. How can someone like him be in this school? But didn't he too old for school? Wait, Sungjin High School and Moon Sang-Min. There's no way this is happening, right? No, she shouldn't jump to a conclusion. She needed to follow him to know if this was a scary coincidence or a nightmare. Both didn't sound too good for her.

She followed Moon Sang-Min around the school when she noticed one more person that was familiar to her. Ji Min-Hyuk. Now, it's obvious, this is not a coincidence anymore. This is a nightmare. No! Min Ha wanted to cry right there. Why is she here? She suddenly realized something. One more thing. One final thing to confirm this. She quickly ran to the window and looked at the sky. Her legs felt like jelly after witnessing the purple sphere things in the sky. What's wrong with her? Why she didn't notice that freaking purple spheres were up there? Fuck! She felt like killing herself now. How could she be in that universe? What happened to her that she standing there, in that high school of dead people? She slapped both of her cheeks as hard as she could and guess what? It's hurt as hell. After a few minutes of slapping herself hard on both of her cheeks, she regained back her strength and walked toward the dead classroom, 3-2 class.

She slid the door open when she smelled something rotten. "The heck?!" She quickly closed the door and walked as far away from that door. Ah, that horrible scene. She just remembered that scene where Moon Sang-Min, or his other self, Wang Tae Man farted and polluted the whole air in the class. She didn't know how long she waited outside the class when she noticed that she was standing alone in the hallways and Ms. Park walked toward her. "Min Ha, why are you standing here? Go inside the class now." Then, Min Ha saw four more students right behind her, Kwon Il Ha, Woo Hee Rak, Yeon Bo Ra, and Yoo Ha Na. She walked into the class with four of them but then she stopped walking as she didn't know where her seat was. "Min Ha, why are standing over there? Go take your seat." Ms. Park showed her the seat and she quickly walked to her seat.

"I have a gift for all of you today." Ms. Park spoke as soon as Min Ha took her seat. Everyone cheered happily and Min Ha just watched the joy in their face. She chuckled as she knew what was going to happen. Ms. Park lifted the test paper for everyone to see. "Mock exam results from September. There is one more gift. I'll hand it out according to your score." Everybody groaned and some complained about the teacher being too harsh. God, this is so entertaining. It's like watching a theatre but with your life at stake. "Silence! Come out when I call your name. First off, first place in our class and school is, Young Hoon."

Min Ha didn't hear the rest as she knew their score. She put her head on her desk and waits for her name to be called. Ms. Park finally called her name after she called Kim Chi Yeol's.

"Alright, the last two places are tied. Il Ha and Hee Rak. Hurry up and come out." Both of them were two happy to be called 'two last places'. Min Ha looked at both of them in disgust, and quietly said, "They got no shame at all. Dumbasses." Il Ha and Hee Rak went to grab their papers. Min Ha knew what was going to happen next so she quickly searched for an eraser in her case and then threw it at Il Ha's head. Il Ha turned around, searching for someone who had thrown that eraser. Serve you right, Kwon Il Ha! She really hated someone like him who was immature and kept on bullying people. Young Hoon who was a little shocked at the scene in front of him turned toward the perpetrator, who could be seen to have a little smirk on her face. Ms. Park looked shocked at Min Ha's behavior. She never expected Min Ha to be someone who like to fight with others. "Hey, both of you!" Min Ha made an innocent face and Il Ha still looked clueless.

"To all the teachers in the building, please come to the administration office." Ms. Park dismissed the class before walking out to the administration office. Min Ha saw the scene where Il Ha asked Chi Yeol to check the situation at the office. Min Ha just shook her head. "Why do I need to be in this universe with a bully like that?" So Yoon who heard Min Ha talking to herself, looked at Min Ha weirdly. "Min Ha, are you okay?" So Yoon asked with a concerned face. Min Ha who was in her own world, was shocked and only nodded her head after a few seconds of silence. So Yoon shook her head, unconvinced by Min Ha's answer. She never saw Min Ha like that as she was kind and a little introverted. Not someone who would like to involve with a bully like Il Ha. Min Ha who felt a little uncomfortable with So Yoon's gaze just turned her head to the other side.

After a few minutes, Min Ha watched Ms. Park followed by Chi Yeol entered the class. She didn't need to hear all of the explanations on why the early admission will be canceled and all the other details. She put her head once again on her desk and slowly she fell asleep but shortly after, her 'nap' was disturbed by a loud crash. She looked over to the two students, as usual, the bully and the nerd fighting each other to death. At that time, she rooting for the nerd to win. The boys tried to stop the fight while Min Ha was sitting at her place, amazed by all of the dumbasses in that class. She stopped her cheer when she heard Deok Jeong saying the military had arrived. Everyone looked out at the window, feeling curious.

"We are doomed." That's all Min Ha said before she continued her beauty sleep.

Letter to myself,

Dear me, I don't know how the fucking hell I'm in this fucking dystopian universe. I don't want to get involved with any of these dumbasses and I don't want to be friends with them. All I want is to be back in my own universe and eat that crepe that I should buy a few days ago. I fucking regretted it. And I also want to tell Ye Rim to shut her mouth after this because of her smarty mouth, I have been cursed. Now, I hope that the purple thing or the military training will kill me later. If not, I will gladly unalive myself.
