Isaac's POV

There will be a full blue moon at midnight today. It happens for a short period once every 3 years. This means that all future Alphas will be taking up the new position and current Alphas would step down. This year was special, it would be held at our pack house. It may sound good, but we have to increase security because this would welcome rogue attacks.

Anyway, my Beta Colin and I were dressed up in our tux and had our hair styled. We were greeting the guests who had just arrived.

"Congratulations Alpha Isaac and Beta Colin." Alex walked in, holding Denise, his mate's hand. You must be wondering why our pack didn't have a third in command, that's because we had a different system.

"Congratulations to you too, Alpha Alex and Luna Denise." I greeted in respect.

"Where's my little sis?" Alex asked.

"She's upstairs getting ready with Carrie. You can hang around here in the meantime, she'll be down soon." Alex nodded.

It was 11.30pm already so I decided to check on Adel.

'Ready yet?'

'Yeah, I'm here.'

At that moment, the scent of vanilla and daisies hit my nose. I could recognise that scent anywhere. I looked up to see my beautiful mate in an almost see through white dress. As much as I hated how much skin she was exposing to other males, it was tradition so I couldn't do anything. But, she looked hot as hell in that. Not tonight when none of those cloths would hide her beautiful figure from me. Her face lit up immediately when she saw me.

I immediately ran up to her and kissed her lips. She smiled and held my hands. It felt a little cold.

"Nervous?" I asked, soothing her hair.

"Yeah." She looked at me, her eyes sparkling brighter than the stars tonight.

"It's okay love, you'll be fine."

"I hope I don't mess something up." She said, bitting her lip nervously.

"Adel, you can leave that for later." I smirked. God she doesn't know how much she can affect me with at simple act.

"What?" She looked at me confused.

"If you continue doing that I will not hesitate to rip your clothes off."

She must have finally realised what I was talking about. She hid into my chest and giggled.

I led Adel to the platform where it was open, so the moonlight was shining on us. This is the moment.

"Thank you for all neighbouring packs for attending. Today, a full blue moon will emerge, and all Alphas will take up the position. May all Alphas lead their pack and serve our members with all pride and love." With that, I ended his speech.

Right at that moment, the clock struck twelve. I could feel the energy flowing into my blood. I felt much stronger and growled, holding much more power than before. Other pack members bowed their heads in respect towards their Alpha.

Adel looked at me in pride which I returned to her. Everyone else clapped and cheered for the new Alphas. All Alphas gave their speech and I stepped out to say mine.

"Not only do the Alphas take up our title, as most of you may know, Adel Daniel of Silvermoon pack is my mate. Today, not only will she join the Black Blood Pack, she will also take the title of Luna."

Adel stepped out, everyone stared at her beauty. She walked up to me and held out her wrists. I took a knife, slicing my palm and hers, as much as I hated to hurt her, it was tradition. I saw her wince slightly but I comforted her by giving her palm a little squeeze. I connected our wrists and let the blood bond.
