Chapter 13

Isaac's POV

It has been 3 days since Adel got taken away. Carrie was still unconscious so we couldn't get any information from her. The pack is in a mess and is prone to rogue attacks. Everyone was worried about their Luna. Alex and our wolves have gone out to detect Adel's scent. It was so frustrating to sit here and plan on our attacks. I couldn't do anything without knowing who the kidnapper was. Adel wasn't replying to my mind links too and I was afraid something would have happened to her. I growled in irritation and slammed my fists into the wall, causing a dent.

"Alpha! We have bad news!" Colin rushed in with Silvermoon Pack's third in command Josh, panting heavily.

"What is it?!" I looked at Colin, my heart pounding like crazy as thoughts of Adel getting hurt flooded my mind.

Both of them looked at each other in fear, too afraid to speak.

"Speak!" I growled, trying to keep my wolf at bay.

"Alpha Alex got captured."

"WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED? How is the rest?" I shot up from my seat, holding Josh by his collar.

"They contaminated the air with wolfsbane, and we couldn't smell anything and it was causing wolves to go crazy. Except for Alex, he was fine and detected traces of Adel's and another wolf's scent.. He sent us back to the pack house since we got cornered and we saw him getting taken away. We couldn't do anything because it was an order.."

"Damn it Alex! Which territory was it?! Who was the other wolf?!"

"Alpha Xavier.. They were in a neutral area.."

Alpha Xavier? I have never heard of it.. He should be in his pack, why was he still in neutral grounds? We could find them easily.

"Alpha, I've checked. He was kicked out of Silvermoon pack 7 years ago. So he gathered rogues and lead them. Now he is an Alpha of a pack full of rogues he gathered." Colin said.

"What is the reason for getting banned?"

"He attacked Adel, which caused her to fall into a coma for 6 months. I'm not sure why he did, ever since Adel woke up, Alpha Daniel ordered everyone not to speak about it, and he kicked Xavier out of the pack soon after. He wasn't remorseful of what he did and continued to pester her."

Was this Xavier the one whom Adel told me about? The one who hurt her and forced her to be his mate. He was going to take Adel away from me and mate with her?!

"Gather anyone who can fight in our pack. Get all the pack doctors too. Pregnant she-wolves and pups will stay in the pack house. Other she-wolves can either fight along with us or protect the pups. This is war." I clenched my teeth.

We shifted and ran over to the area where Alex got captured. The trackers were sniffing around for their scent, and each of our wolves had to go along with them in case of a fight.

'Alpha Isaac! We found Alex's scent!'

'State your location.'

'Head northwest where we left, we are about 7 miles away.'

Within minutes, we arrived at the location. There was a rundown house in a distance and I could smell Adel's scent. My wolf was howling in my mind and my heart ached from not being able to touch and be with her. Those 3 days were painful and I dreaded every second of not being able to do anything. As much as I wanted to charge in and tear every wolves throat in there for hurting Adel, we couldn't blow our cover.

"Colin, you and Josh will lead 5 of our fighters to search for Adel. The rest of you, I will split you into 3 teams. Team A will attack straight on with me, Team B will attack from the back, Team C will search for Alex. Kill them unless they mean no harm. Leave the children and women out of it. And, Xavier is mine."
