I hate you (Soldier 76 x Reaper) Overwatch

What happened

As the soldier walked to the front entrance of the watchpoint, he was expected a warm greeting on the speaker that was at the door to communicate with someone inside, but there was silence. He stood there a while before speaking.

"Is anyone here..?" There was a long silence. I guess the recall must've just been a mistake. Maybe I should just go back- "Who is speaking?" Asked a deep voice full of curiosity.

"Jack Morrison." There was an even longer silence. He started to get impatient.
"Hello? Do you know who I-" The doors opened and there was not a sound after that. He paused, hesitated, then began to enter.

He didn't make it far inside before being greeted by a giant gorilla, who was friendly to him.
"Im so honored to meet you! I have heard so much about you, but, everyone said that you were-"

"Yeah. I faked my death. I've been sort of.." he looked around. "Busy doing my own business ."
Jack looked around the entire place as they headed towards the main office where there was always meetings. Jack would always host these meetings back then, giving everyone hope, encouragement, and whatever plans he had in his mind. But now, he felt like nobody would really care about the opinion of some old man.

"Here we are. Everyone, I have someone who finally answered the recall, like all of you!" As Jack walked in he saw two very familiar faces. It was Ana Amari and Angela Zeilger. He felt so strange seeing them again but he was so happy to see them. They stared at him.

"Who.. is this..?" Ana said slowly as if she might've had a guess. Jack took his visor off with a click then looked at her and smiled.
"Its good to see you, captain." Ana and Angela's face were shocked as both of their mouths hung open, speechless.

"Jack.. your.. your alive?!" Ana said shocked. Angela walked over towards him and inspected him. "I recognized you from when I first saw the articles about the mysterious 'Soldier 76' on the news. I just couldn't make my self believe what I thought was true."
"Old soldiers never die though, do they?" Ana said warmly giving him a smile that almost looked sad, as if she were sad she didn't realize it was him sooner. "Im sorry that I faked my death. It wasn't right to you all but I just..." he looked down as his throat felt tight from not seeing Reyes, worrying what happened to him. "I didn't think I could help anyone anymore."
Ana frowned. "Now you and I both know thats not true Jack. The world needed you, they just didn't know that they did until you were gone." The gorilla was fumbling around with a bunch of screens on a desk, as if he were pulling up documents. "Who is th-" "I'm Winston! Im so glad you asked." Angela chuckled a little.

"Winston is the what you would call leader of Overwatch since everything got disbanded." Jack looked him down almost jealous that he took his place. "I'm just happy someone finally answered all those recalls! Never expected it to be Jack Morrison himself." Jacks mind was wandering as he continued to inspect the place by looking around at everything. It was almost as if he were trying to distract himself from what he didn't see. "Where... where is Gabriel, Ana?" Her expression changed immediately and she looked concerned, as if she didn't want to tell him.

"Well... thats.." She looked at Angela with a sad expression. Jacks throat tightened. "How did he.." "No, no, he hasn't died.. the thing is..." Ana couldn't seem to spit it out as it was obvious is bothered her too. As Gabriel was a dear friend to her, so Angela stepped in.

"Gabriel was on the brink of death after the explosion. Of course, I wasn't there at that moment. I... I wish I could've been. Then maybe.. he wouldn't be the way he is now." Jack raised an eyebrow. "Way he is now? What do you mean by that?" "Theres a scientist named Moira
O'Deorain. She was part of Blackwatch. They kept her hidden from us during that time because of her bad past.

She was known to do foolish things just to get success of an experiment. Like she did with him..." Jack listened intently, anxious for what happened to him.
"She took his nearly dead body, and experimented on him. With poisonous chemicals. She pumped him full of so many of these harsh chemicals and dark matter. He became alive away, in a sense. He isn't the same. He looks different. He is what is considered, an enigma now and he works for Talon.

Which im sure you've at least heard of before." She explained to him very carefully, knowing him and Jack were close. "Where can I see him?" "Jack, no. He is not the same Gabriel you knew. He is dangerous." Ana interrupted. "Shes right," said Angela, "He is.. he is monstrous now.." Jack exhaled sharply. "Gabriel was my best friend. No matter how dangerous he is I need to see him. I need to talk to him." Ana and Angela exchanged a worried look.

Winston brought over a hologram of what seemed to be a news article on the breaking-in of Overwatch HQ. It was titled 'Talon breaks into overwatch for the first time'. Jack blinked several times to make sure his eyes were working when he saw in the photo, a tall black figure with a black cloak and a white mask of what looked sort- of like a skull. "What.. what is that?" He said staring. "Its Gabriel." Ana said sadly.
