He pressed his back against the wall, Jack didn't mention this plan to Ana and Angela, because he one, didn't want to get bailed out again like last time, and two, knew they would disapprove. He waited silently. Jack knew that Talon was going to come here, Petra. He had done some digging through the computer system at Overwatch HQ, and had found a notification, warning the townspeople that Talon was coming. They were spotted before they arrived. And it looked like Jack was right on time.
He glanced around the corner of the wall he was standing at. He saw some of the members of Talon attacking another HQ of some sort. It bothered him that he was turning a blind eye to this just to talk to one person.
He watched some more and he didn't see Gabriel at all. He waited and waited. Trooper after trooper, nothing. The hero inside him was building up inside and he was about to burst. He heard someone scream, and that was the last straw.
He ran out, fast as the wind, and broke into the place, behind Talon. His heart was pounding for action. Someone in front of him yelled, "HEY!" He punched them in the jaw, and they fell to the ground, wincing in pain.
Another one that was in front of that one, was less threatened by him, acting cocky the man raised his arms out to him, taunting him. Jack charged at him and tackled him to the ground, then took the mans own gun to bash his head in.
Jack continued to run throughout the building, these people were so disorganized, it made it even easier for him, as if it wouldn't have been easy enough. There was a woman who looked as if she worker at whatever HQ this was for night shift, being attacked by another one.
"Help!!!" She screamed, terrified. Jack growled. He charged towards the trooper and grabbed them and threw them off of her. He then walked up to them and took his foot and jammed it into the troopers back. The man screamed in pain.
The woman backed up closer to the wall, terrified. "You need to leave, NOW!" Jack ordered her. She got up quickly, "thank you so much!" She said, out of breath as she ran the way Jack came in.
Jack was full of adrenaline. It was pumping through his veins. He was ready for whatever was next. He picked his gun up and continued to run yet again.
After running for a good while, he saw a figure, who looked like they were stealing some important data out of the HQs systems. Jack ran towards the figure and tackled them to the ground.
The figure growled in pain, as Jack slammed it into the ground, although, unlike the other troopers, this one grabbed him with force and threw him at a wall.
"Augh.." Jack said in pain, getting back up shortly after. The figure charged at him again, and punched Jack right in the stomach. He winced. He almost fell back down but was determined to defeat whoever this was.
He quickly repositioned himself and was trying to find his gun, which he had dropped, in the dark room.
"Right here, Jack." He said, shooting Jack in the side, only clipping him just a little to hurt him enough to make him weak.
He fell to the ground. His vision was getting worse, as if the dark room with only moonlight shining through wasn't enough.
"Jack..." the figure said, walking towards him slowly, with heavy footsteps. "What are you doing here..?" Jack was panting slowly, then growled as he tried to hold his side. Jack tried to get back onto his feet then fell again.
Gabriel cackled. "Beware.. the shadows.." he said while approaching Jack. He grabbed Jack then wrapped his arm around Jacks mouth, suffocating him. Jack kicked back at him as hard as he could and Gabriel cursed. "DAMN IT!"
Gabriel stumbled back a little, then regained his balance. "Jack... you're being a bad boy..." Jack paused, feeling his face heat up. Jack held his gun tightly, he could've easily killed him by now, but he couldn't force himself to.
Gabriel was suddenly all over Jack, pinning him against the wall. Jack let out a loud sound of pleasure and Gabriel laughed loudly, menacingly.
"You always were my bitch, weren't you?" Gabriel cackled, and began to put his hands on Jacks waist, pulling him closer, making Jacks head brush against his face.
Suddenly, Jack heard a clank as if something fell. He quickly looked to the ground and saw that Gabriel's mask had fell off from getting so close to Jack.
Gabriel froze. Jack stared at his face. His eyes were red, with black replacing where the white used to be. He still had the same face but his skin was discolored, decaying away, and the sides of his cheeks exposed his teeth, due to the skin there being mostly gone.
Gabriel howled in terror. "DONT LOOK AT ME." He quickly turned into a big shadow and grabbed his mask while in this form.
"N-NO! GABRIEL! DONT GO!" Jack cried out to him. But he was already gone. Jack stood there, shocked. "You are just as stunning as you always were..." he whispered to himself.
