Chapter 11: Saiyajin

There was a moment of silence. Kai is now staring at them awkwardly, not knowing the best way to break it down to them.

"RUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!! FLY!!! DO SOMETHING!!"

His mind screamed, telling him to run from the scene. But before he could make any move, Ai asked the obvious question.

"Kai...... you're Gaia?"

"Fuuuuccckkkkk...." His mind screamed in his head as he just smiled nervously and waved at her awkwardly.

"I screwed up. Big time." Kai thought to himself.

Aqua is now putting the pieces together. Remembering Kai's departure earlier, he connected the dots, "So, that's why I saw him going out earlier...."

Everyone was weirded out by the situation, with thier curios gaze pinned on the young Saiyan, who was sweating profusely. He was praying that he'd make this out until Ai spotted some wounds that Kai received from fighting Turles.

"Those wounds......" She said this while slowly walking towards him.

Kai flinched when Ai stood in front of him and started to check on him.

"Are you ok? These wounds looked so bad......."

Kai's face immediately turns as red as a beet when Ai caresses it. He put his hands on her shoulders. He scratched his face nervously as he assures her, "I'm fine! This is just merely a scratc-- OUCH!!!!" Kai lets out a yelp as Ruby touches a cut on his leg, feeling a painful sensation creeps in.

Ruby and the rest went to him while Ai was busy checking on his injury.

"Hey, Mr. Kai! Are you really the Gaia?!!" Ruby gave a cheerful smile.

"How did you change your hair to blond?" Aqua went more straightforward with his question.

"You need to explain this, boy." Miss Miyako shot a demanding eye, wanting to know the reason behind this.

Kai tried to calm them down as he sighed in defeat.

"This is going to be a long day......."

~~Two days had passed~

-Ai's apartment-

The sound of the TV filled the living room as Ai and her twin children settled on the couch, eagerly awaiting the upcoming show that Ai had participated in.

"I can't wait to see your performance, Mama!" Ruby exclaimed, wearing a black hoodie with a small pink rabbit logo on it.

"Well, they did film me quite a bit," Ai replied with a smile, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Here it comes!" Aqua announced as the TV drama began to play.

"It's starting!" Ruby pointed at the screen, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

They watched intently until the scene featuring Ai appeared.

"Oh, this is the scene! Aww, it's Mama!" Ruby squealed, bouncing in her seat.

"C'mon, give her a close-up!" Aqua chimed in as Ai was shown talking to the MC of the drama.
As the scene continued, dissatisfaction crept over both twins. Suddenly, the TV drama ended abruptly, replaced by a news broadcast.

"What?! That's all?!" Ruby exclaimed in disapproval.

"Just a bit of a single screen?!" Aqua echoed, shocked. He had been confident that Ai's performance was perfect; why had they cut her scene so much?

"They cut way too much!" Ruby pouted, crossing her arms.

Ai looked on with confusion. "I wonder if my acting was bad..."
