Atlantis (part 3)

Metropolis, Hall of Justice 7.30 pm, one week after 'the kiss'

I was thinking about Clark all this week and I couldn't find a solution for the problem. I found only one acceptable way, but there is still a chance that it won't work. That's why I was searching for Diana before our weekly meeting.

I didn't see anyone from the league after we came back from Atlantis because I didn't want to, but I knew I can trust in Diana.

I knocked on her door and she invited me in. I told her my plan and she listened attentively.

"So, do you want to help me?" I asked after I finished. Diana was thinking for a moment, but she nodded. "Thank you" I sighed in relief and smiled at her.
"Could you please not smile at me? It's very strange" she said and I stopped.
"Sorry, shall we go?" I asked, raising my hand to pull her up.

"Sorry for being late, we had other things to do" Diana said as we entered the meeting room. I saw Superman from the corner of my eyes, but I tried to ignore him.
"What's the reason?" Martian asked and Diana blushed.
"Nothing important" she said softly and looked at me to begin the meeting.
"I'm starting the meeting. Have a seat" I said, and no one argued anymore. "I decided to postpone the CADMUS attack for two weeks" I said and then we remained silent.
"That's it? Why didn't you send an email?" Flash asked annoyed.
"Because there is another topic we need to talk about. Perhaps more important than destroying CADMUS" 
"And what is it?" Green Lanter asked, now also annoyed.
"Diana, could you please stand beside me? We have to make an announcement" I said and Diana stood next to me, her face turned red. "I know I made a promis to you Superman, but unfortunately I can't keep it. Diana and I have been spending a lot of time together this past week and we've grown to love each other. I only love her now and I already engaged her" I turned to Diana and kissed her passionatly. I hope Clark will forgive me for this. I could hear the others muttering in displeasure when someone flew into me and I hit the wall.

I only saw black dotts for a moment and I heard someone scream. I felt the familiar lips on my own and I automaticly opened my mouth for him. I wrapped my arms around him and he pushed me further against the wall. We stopped only when we heard a discreet "khm" from the table. He didn't loosen his grip around my body, but he laid back a little so that he could look me in the eyes.

"Don't you ever dare do this to me again" he said barely whispering. I nodded and rested my forehead against his in relief.
"Do you love me?" I asked just to be sure.
"Yes, you jerk, I love you" he said still outraged. I wanted to give him a quick kiss, but it became longer and longer until we heard that "khm" again.
"Okay guys, we get it, Superbat is back, but please get a room" Flash said with a huge grin on his face.
"Sorry, it won't happen again" Superman said as he blushed slightly.
"Yes, it won't. Do you want to come to my place around 3 am? Until then, I have other things to do, but I'm free for the rest of the night" I said and Superman blushed even more.
"Oh... sure"
"Perfect, then the meeting is over" I said and I left the HQ to catch Catwoman who was about to stole a priceless cat statue from the museum.

(Hi everyone! I just want to say that I really apprecciate you reading my book. I hope you're having a good time. I plan to publish six more chapters and then I'll finish this book, but you don't have to worry because as I said at the beginning I want to write a second one. I'll continue this story, but I separated them because I think it's already long enough.
