Clark's pov
Metropolis, Daily Planet 11 am

I started to get a headache from Dawn. I had never had a headache before and I didn't like it. I needed a coffee.

"Hey, why don't we take a break? We're working on this article for two hours" I suggested and she stared at me as if I'd lost my mind.
"We can't. This article should be perfect" she said and she looked back at the monitor. Sometimes I felt like I was more human than her and Bruce.
"But sometimes a break can help more than just staring at the monitor blankly" I said kindly, and she finally agreed to a coffee.

We went into the kitchen and prepared our drink. I watched her doing her coffee. I thought she likes coffee as Bruce, black, but she put three sugar block into it. I smiled a little on it, but I didn't say anything and sat down to one of the couches in the office. She hasited for a moment, but then she sat down next to me.

I didn't want to force the conversation, so we drank our coffee in silence for a while, but then suddenly she spoke.

"I'm sorry if I acted as a workaholic. I'm not the best when it comes to relationships or feelings" she said staring at her mug.
"Don't worry about it. I know a lot of people like you, so I'm kind of used to it" I said smiling at her, but she gave me a strange look.
"You're too kind with everyone"
"Just with good people"
"You think I'm a good person?"
"Why, aren't you?" I asked confused. I knew she came from Gotham, but she didn't look like a criminal for me. Beside, Bruce would have recognize her if she was a criminal.

In the end, she couldn't answer to my question because the elevator opened and the chaos began.

Lois Lane. She got off the elevator and went into the boss's office. Everyone on the floor fell silent. The people looked at each other quizzically and whispering Superman's name.

I dropped my coffee mug and it shuttered on the floor. I didn't care. She can't be here, it's impossible. I didn't realize I stood up.

Lois came out from the office with our boss. " Lois is back, isn't it great? She will be your new boss" he said and everyone was shocked. "That's all. Now go back to work" he said and he went back into his office. Somehow he didn't seem himself.

Lois turned to me and came closer to me. "Can we talk?" she asked, and I couldn't resist. I wanted to resist, but I couldn't. What is she doing with me?

We went into a private meeting room and she closed the door behind us. She was staring at me for minutes before she speak. It was very frustrating.

"Superman, I'm back. Don't you happy?" she asked and I wanted to say no, but I said yes. Something is wrong with her. "We should talk about our wedding. I think we should hold it in July, it's such a lovely month" she said and I agreed with her again.
"Good idea, my dear. What about we go to Gotham in the afternoon and tell Batman about this? He is my best friend in work and I want him to know the exact date of our wedding" I said and hoped she wouldn't be suspicious about it.
"Alright, but we should go now. Traffic in the afternoon is terrible" she said and she pulled me until the exit.

Gotham, Wayne Mannor 12 am

It was a week day, so he's probably sleeping, but it worth a try. I knocked on the door and Alfred opened it for us.

"Mr Kent, it's always good to see you, but you should know he's still in bed. He had a long night" he said and my heart beat raised.
"Is he hurt?" I asked and Alfred nodded.
"He lost a lot of blood, but don't worry. He'll go out on patrol on tomorrow as always" he said, but he couldn't calm me down.
"Can I talk to him? It's an emergency" I said and I stepped aside so he could see Lois standing behind me. He looked terrified for a moment, but he let us in and he went upstairs to wake up his master.

A few minutes later Bruce hurried down the stairs only in a robe. He looked at us in shock when he had arrived to the living room.

"What the f*ck happened?" he asked me in a trembling voice. Lois answered his question.
"I'm back from repairing and I'm here to destroy you all. And we would like to invite you to our wedding" she said and Bruce blinked a few to understan what's happening. I was kind of confused too.
"I see, that's very kind from you. Then we should go down to the cave and maybe we can have a cup of tea as well" he said turning to Alfred and then he opened the elevator and we all went down.

Lois has never been in the Batcave before, so she looked around excitedly. Bruce sat down in front of the Batcomputer and searched for something while answering Lois' questions. I could feel his patience running out as he took more and more breaths before he answered.

After a few minutes he found what he was looking for and stood up from his chair.

"Lois, have I shown my favourite weapon yet?" he leaned against a desk.
"No, which one is that?" she asked as she turned towards Bruce.
"This one" he said and he pulled the trigger of a pistol. I stood there completely stunned. "Don't worry. It makes her fall asleep" he said as he put back the pistol on the table and headed towards the passed out woman.

He laid her down on an examining table and turned on the machine. It sent the data to the computer and we both stood in front of the big screen looking at the results. I hoped Bruce would understand better than I did.

"You have to take her to a hospital. I can't help her, but maybe real doctors can" he said when the device finished scanning.
"What happened to her?" I asked, looking at her worriedly.
"CADMUS. It looks like they made her come back from death somehow and they put a device into her brain which gives her thoughts from CADMUS. There is also something else. I think she got some kind of power from them, too. She's able to manipulate other people's thoughts and decisions" he said still looking at the screen.
"Can doctors perform such surgery on her brain?" I asked doubtfully.
"Yes, and then you can continue your old life together" he said turning away from me.
"What are you talking about?" I asked shocked. He wasn't himself. Could Lois be influencing him?
"Come on, don't pretend that's not why you brought her here!"
"Because you know me better than anyone, don't you? Fine, then I broke up with you. That's what you wanted, wasn't you?" I asked as tears welled up in my eyes.
"Yes. I always knew that one day you would leave me because of her. And now leave my home" Bruce said melancholy, but firmly.
"Because you always know everything better, don't you?! As you whis" I grabbed up Lois and took her to a hospital. I've never been so mad at him. I wanted to yell at him and kiss him at the same time. I didn't love Lois, I was in love with him.

The doctors made the surgery and CADMUS can't controle her now, but I don't know how to take away her ability. Fortunately, she couldn't use her powers without the device in her brain.

Lois moved in with me because she lost her home when she died. I didn't know what to think or feel about it, but I was actually glad to have her back.
