Somewhere in an undisclosed region of the world, Yogi Bear and his gang were taking a walk through a sunny path that led through a beautiful forest and meadow. The gang had traveled a long way from their home and had decided to stop in this location to check it out. They noticed that the flowers and trees looked quite unusual compared to what they were used to seeing back home, but it seemed like a peaceful place.
"This looks like a very nice place!" Yogi beamed to himself. "Lots of fresh air and wide open space!"
"I think I'll take a nap in the shade when we get to a nice spot," Boo-Boo added.
"Me too," Mr. Jinks sighed. "I could go for a little cat nap since we've been sailing our ship for hours!"
"This place is pretty," Huckleberry Hound commented. "But I reckon since we don't know exactly where we are, we oughtta find some locals and get some information."
"A capital suggestion," Snagglepuss said. "Let's keep moving forward."
They soon came across a building that read "Pokemon Center". Augie Doggie's eyes lit up in awe.
"Oh my gosh!" he cried. "Do you fellas realize where we are?!"
"Where, son of mine?" Doggie Daddy asked.
"We're in the region of Pokemon! And I thought this place only existed in my video games!"
"The place from the video games?" Quick Draw McGraw asked. "Naw...we must be dreamin'!"
He closed his eyes, then opened them up again, only to find that he was still awake. So then he tried to pinch himself. "Yeow!!" he cried. "Huh! I guess it ain't a dream after all!"
"Dad, can we go in there?" Augie asked. "I wanna become a Pokemon trainer!"
Doggie Daddy chuckled. "We'll have to see what the others think! What do you guys say?"
"Um, okay!" Boo-Boo agreed.
"Sounds like fun!" Huck beamed.
"I wanna give it a try!" Quick Draw cried.
"I'll be delighted!" Snag replied.
"Like, uh, sure!" Jinks grinned. "How about you, Yogi?"
Yogi thought for a moment. "Hmmm, I don't see why not! Let's go for it!"
"ALRIGHT!!!" Augie cheered.
Just then, the gang heard a strange noise from somewhere nearby, and a small creature came running out of the bushes. It looked like a little brown fox with a bushy tail, a cream-colored furry crest around its neck and long rabbit-like ears. It was crying, "Eevee!! Eevee!!" A couple of bird-like creatures were angrily chasing it.
"What is that?" Jinks asked.
"I don't know!" Huck cried. "But I think it might be in trouble!" He ran over to the little creature, and grabbed it in his arms. The bird creatures swooped down and tried to peck him, but he swatted them away and began to run. "Go on, git! Shoo!" he shouted. "You leave him alone!"
The bird creatures were terrified by Huck's loud shouting so they quickly fled the scene.
"Gosh!" Augie cried. "I'm surprised to see a couple of Pidgey acting so angry! And I thought Spearow had bad tempers!"
"Huh?" Yogi gasped. "Say what?"
"Those were Pidgey that Huck scared away!" Augie explained. His eyes lit up with joy and he gasped when he saw the little furry creature in the blue hound's arms. "Wow! Huck...you just rescued a wild Eevee!"
